- Firostefani - Optional visit: Firostefani is a historic village situated north of Fira, the capital of Santorini, and has now merged with it as a settlement. Its name, meaning “wreath of Fira,” reflects its elevated position compared to the rest of Fira. The village is known for its traditional houses, narrow streets, and stunning views of the volcano.
- Pyrgos Kallistis - Optional visit: Pyrgos Kallistis is a village on the Aegean island of Santorini, Greece, within the Cyclades archipelago. Located approximately 7 km from the island’s capital, Fira, it is built amphitheatrically on a hill, offering magnificent views of Santorini in nearly all directions. Atop this hill lie the ruins of a Venetian castle (Kasteli), once the island’s administrative center. Pyrgos is a prime example of medieval architecture, featuring narrow, labyrinthine streets, fortified walls, and hidden passages. Today, it remains one of the least tourist-affected villages in Santorini.
- Ιερά Μόνη Προφήτου Ηλία Θήρας - Optional visit: The island’s highest point (567 meters) is located between Pyrgos and Kamari. The mountain, named Profitis Ilias (Prophet Elijah), is home to a monastery of the same name at its peak. From this vantage point, visitors can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire island, from the patchwork agricultural plains to the hilltop village of Oia.

- Akrotiri Archaeological Site - Optional visit: Akrotiri was a Cycladic Bronze Age settlement on the volcanic Greek island of Thera. The settlement was destroyed in the Theran eruption in the 16th century BC and buried in volcanic ash, preserving fine frescoes and numerous objects and artworks. Excavations at Akrotiri have been ongoing since 1967, following earlier digs on Santorini.
