Best trip and wonderful people - Loved it. Jay our guide was wonderful. She helped me feel comfortable and I was nervous. My 2 teenagers loved the tour with Jay and want to come back in the spring when the water is higher.

Middle Yough rafting - A friend and I did the 2 hour trip which began in Ohiopyle. The entire trip was seamless from checking in through the trip and our guide, Jonathan, was excellent! It was a great experience and I'd recommend White Water Adventures to anyone!

Just great! - Our guide Jake was such good fun, really knowledgeable and interesting as well as engaging and humorous. We felt totally safe and enjoyed every minute of the lower Yough guided tour through 7 miles of water over 3 hours. If only I could do it again tomorrow! You should definitely go on this rafting experience, don't hesitate!

A Grand Day Afloat on the Yough - Had a wonderful time with one other family and our expert and friendly guide, Jenna! We appreciated tips on the least shallow path so as not to get grounded so much in our double ducky inflatable kayaks. It was a lower water-kevel day. Her knowledge of the river was valuable and shared often to enhance our experience. Would like to visit again! Thank you Jenna!

Highly recommend White Water Adventurers - We had a great time rafting with Alex from White Water Adventurers. We took the family friendly route, it was my husband, our 11 year old daughter and myself. Alex was absolutely wonderful. He got us all set up with life jackets and paddles then we boarded a bus which took us up to Confluence where rafts were waiting for us. Carried our boat to the launch area and we were on our adventure. Alex stayed within eyesight the entire time and was very attentive to anyone who got stuck on a rock, which we did, a few times 🤣. Any rapids we went through were pretty minimal, but that's what we wanted. Alex gave a lot of interesting facts as well as a few good jokes. We also saw a Blackhawk helicopter flying through the valley which was awesome. About half way through Alex had us pull on shore and we walked a small path to a clearing with tables for lunch. He had turkey wraps, cookies and water available. After lunch we rafted a bit more and then walked back to where it all began. We had a great time and would do it again. Just be ready for a good workout, even on the easy path. And also make sure you tip your guides, they appreciate it.

Lots of getting stuck on big rocks - The raft trip was enjoyable, and the scenery was beautiful. Unfortunately some of our lasting memories will be constantly getting stuck on rocks because the water level was so low. Before the trip, the guide showed everyone what to do when we inevitably got stuck. Not so easy to get unstuck, and no one really tried to help when it happened. We expected a lot of rowing, but not a lot of prying ourselves off river boulders.

Families with young children - please read! - We booked the Middle Yough Rafting guided tour for a total of 10 people - 4 adults and 6 children ranging in ages of 7-14. They provided single inflatable kayaks for everyone - even the 2 youngest riders (ages 7 and 8). Having never been on the tour I trusted that the company knew what they were doing by putting them in single kayaks. I assumed it would be an easy ride - it was not. They 100% were not able to navigate by themselves. As a parent it was frightening to watch them struggle and panic. We were eventually able to tether them to an adult kayak. Our experience would have been much different had they been in a double kayak to start. I understand due to water levels why we had to use the kayaks vs rafts, but I just wish they would have provided doubles for the younger children. It would have been a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
