After a brief orientation, you’ll board our bus for a ride into the Cherokee National Forest with views of Lake Ocoee & the Ocoee River. Your Middle Ocoee adventure will begin at the Ocoee #2 Dam where your guide will go through a complete safety orientation with practice time before getting on the river. The Middle Ocoee is 5 miles of class III/IV whitewater, featuring 17 major rapids & is 90% whitewater giving you miles of big waves, action & fun. As you descend the river gorge you’ll be immersed in the beauty of the Cherokee National Forest. Your smiles & laughter will get bigger with each rapid as your confidence builds. This is the perfect bonding trip for family, friends & groups alike. No experience necessary! At the end of your river adventure, the bus will bring you back to the outpost where you’ll get a chance to look at photos from your trip & change into dry clothes.
Minimum age to participate is 12 years of age. We are on EASTERN TIME.

Whitewater FUN!Great trip with our guide Nikki Lee! All the crew was so Fun and professional! Nikki was super :) loved - My family had an absolute BLAST!! From the getting hyped up bus ride to the making our way down the river with Nikki Lee our amazing guide!! We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back and do the full day experience. Quest expeditions was Fun and professional. The changing and bathrooms were very nice/clean!! Great shop full of amazing souvenirs, pictures of your trip and all kinds of cool stuff. We loved everything about our day especially our guide Nikki Lee!

Girls just wanna have FUN!! - My daughter, her friends and I had a blast. Aaron was a great guide and kept us on track the whole run. Reggie who is a regular patron with them was in our boat and was a hoot!!

Only Company I Raft With - Grew up rafting with this company as a teen. Been about 8 years and decided to try them again. They never disappoint and we had an absolute blast! Hope these guys are around for a long time. Will try the upper as well next time.

Great time - I was in town for a quick 4th of July weekend with the family and we were looking for something fun to do. We ended up rafting with Quest and wow!!!! What a great time. All of the staff from the lady who answered the phone to make our last minute reservation to all of the guides. I will say though SHANE IS THE MAN and he really made it a great experience. My crew was my son and his buddies all under 16 and Shane was amazing guiding us and giving them direction to make it a fun trip.

Top notch company and experience of a lifetime - We had a blast! Quest Expeditions is a fantastic company to experience this thrill. Quest has everything extremely organized and done professionally. I figured it would be chaos checking in and getting the to take in spot on the river. I was completely wrong. It was so organized and streamlined. They are top notch. Our river guide, Trey, was exceptional. All the guides seemed this way but we feel blessed to have gotten him. He made sure we had fun and that we were safe. This is a priceless family memory. Do it if you want to have fun!

Awesome River Guides - My wife and I were thoroughly impressed by quest and our trip on the river. Our guide was fantastic and it was encouraging to see our flotilla of rafts going down the river and not getting stuck on rocks like the other outfitters.

Rafting the Ocoee with Lauren! - Quest Expeditions Ocoee White Water Rafting was an amazing experience. Our guide Lauren is the best! She is a very experienced guide who was also very knowledgeable on the history of the Ocoee River. She shared anecdotal experiences that made our trip memorable. Definitely planning another trip and will request Lauren as our guide.

A fun and exciting adventure - We had an amazing trip. Melissa was very knowledgeable, just enough excitement for our group, and brought us to safety after falling in. Our daughter was very scared the entire trip and Melissa ensured she was safe and protected. I appreciated that the most. We will be back!

Quest Expeditions Exceeded Expections - Sara is thee best guide ! She was fun and took action when another guest fell in the water and quickly retrieved him. We did some sweet moves and she made you overall feel comfortable. We would go again !

BEST RAFTING FUN - We had the BEST time rafting the Middle Ocoee with Quest Expeditions! Our guide Sara was truly the MVP..tiny but so mighty and wise. Her energy made the entire experience unforgettable. We had a few people in our group who were pretty nervous at first, but Sara struck the perfect balance between keeping everyone calm and still pushing us to have a full, exciting adventure.
We surfed, we played games, we jumped in the water..it was nonstop fun the entire time. Her charisma and confidence made all the difference and turned what could’ve been a “just stay in the boat” kind of trip into something we’re still laughing about today.
Quest was super accommodating with our large group too, which we really appreciated. Everything ran smoothly, and we’re already talking about when we can go back. Highly recommend,
especially if you’re lucky enough to get Sara as your guide!
