- 869 US-64 - We’ll start you off in the remote gorge near Ocoee Dam No.3, then it’s on downstream to some intense class III & IV big water. About half way down, the Ocoee River narrows into the Olympic white water competition course. Your adrenaline will be pumping! Your Full River Trip includes a riverside picnic lunch served at the end of the Upper section. Picnic lunch includes sandwiches, chips, cookies, fruit, sweet tea and lemonade. Just when you thought you’ve experienced it all, we’ll shoot down the middle Ocoee and take on over 20 more class III & IV rapids including Double Suck, Flipper, Diamond Splitter and Hell’s Hole. This combo trip takes about 5 hours to complete. This trip is only available on weekends from mid May thru September, so don’t wait to book it! This is one white water adventure that’s tough to beat. (Remember: Children must be at least 12 years old to raft the Ocoee)

The Best Time! - Being a novice but athletic middle age group of ladies, safety was important to us. We thrive on excitement, adrenaline, fun and are adventurous and but didn’t know what to expect. Ethan and Cherokee were AMAZING not just with their jobs but are also very personable. We would tackle any river with them.

Best day on the River. - My daughter and I go rafting every year. This trip was our favorite so far. Due to the number of people rafting that day with Cherokee, out raft ended up being just the two of us and Travis, our guide. Travis really make the trip memorable. We did a lot of things on the river we haven't done on past trips, including cool swimming holes, surfing waves and taking different routes through the rapids. I would highly recommend Cherokee Rafting and if you get can do a private trip with Travis, it's well worth it.

Guides were awesome! Equipment was well maintained! - We had a blast! Our guide Cherokee was spectacular and made us feel extremely relaxed and we had so much fun! We will be going back for sure!

Cherokee Rafting is top notch - We have used Cherokee Rafting for all of our whitewater trips and they never disappoint! Nice clean facilities. Staff and guides are always friendly. Our guide this time was Travis. He was extremely knowledgeable of the water and made sure we had a fun and exciting trip! We cannot wait to come back!!

Tackle the Upper Ocoee with Travis! - Great trip! Really enjoyed the upper rapids, and our guide Travis was quite literally the best. We’ve all been on several rafting trips previously, and we can unequivocally say that Travis and his 17+ years of experience made this a very fun but safe experience. We highly recommend Cherokee Rafting and Travis!

Fun Day on the Ocoee River with Cherokee Rafting - The Cherokee Rafting river guides were great. Their energy and enthusiasm was contagious. We had a blast with them on the full day Ocoee trip. Our riverside lunch was delicious ( choices of deli meats, cheeses and fixings, boiled shrimp, watermelon. It was a dreary weather day for August but the paddling exercise kept us warm enough. Our boat guide Travis was a top notch professional who made raft navigation through the rapids look easy. There were a handful of unplanned “out of boat” experiences by rafters, but the guides and the safety lead responded promptly. It was cool that we got to run the 96 Olympic course rapids as part of the upper river course. The Cherokee Rafting outpost was nice and spacious. I would highly recommend Cherokee Rafting for Ocoee River rafting.

Cherokee Rafting Rocks ! - We had a family of 13 - teens, adults and grandparents doing the full river trip.
We had 3 rafts - guides Will, Max and Ethan. Our guides were absolutely awesome! They made the bus ride and the rafting a great experience. This is a great activity for everybody. The total time from start to finish is approximately 5 hours and includes a delicious by the river lunch. Super shout out to Will for going above and beyond for a handicapped participant !!
Adding to the fun are the rafting helmets with colored Mohawks !
Kudos to Cherokee Rafting for hiring awesome and experienced guides !
