Amazing time, don't miss - Amazing tour, Highly recommend! This was the best tour experience we've ever had. The company was very communicative; easy to book with (recommend doing direct.) Our guide was just phenomenal; Lindsay made sure we got to see as much as possible, even a few stops along the road to see some birds that had eluded earlier, and to perform a turtle rescue. We loved that Wild Lime partners with great local people and businesses including with the Miccosukee tribe; for really authentic, local, knowledgeable, experience. Looking forward to taking other tours with them in the future.

Excellent tour, energetic and knowledgeable guide! - We had a fantastic time on this full day adventure- our guide Lindsey (Lindsay?) was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife in southern Florida. The tour was thoughtfully planned out but also felt spontaneous when we were able to spot additional cool things to do or see- like a manatee and her baby or saving a soft shelled turtle trying to cross the road. The whole family had a great time- highlight was watching the dolphins play by our boat in the 10,000 islands area- we had an awesome captain at Smallwood Store Boat Tours in Chokoloskee. Highly recommend this tour!

Amazing, highly recommended Everglades / Cypress Reserve Day Tour - Wild Lime day tour was AMAZING!! Ryan, our guide, was incredibly knowledgable and friendly! Felt like a friend showing us around! Having snacks and drinks, sunscreen, & bug spray provided was a bonus! Van was comfortable. Both boat tours were fantastic! Saw lots of alligators, birds, manatee, dolphins, etc! Would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone!!

Great trip, guide was excellent - Excellent full-day trip. The wildlife was amazing (my son counted 54 alligators-- including 3 pint-sized babies and maybe 30 dolphins). The landscape / scenery was fascinating. It was a great mix of swamp/marsh, forest & mangrove islands, each of which was really interesting. The guide was not only an excellent naturalist, but also an excellent guide to Miami-- we learned a ton about the Everglades, and quite a bit about Miami on the trip to / from. The logistics were also great-- they picked us up at hotel in Miami Beach in the morning and dropped us off in the evening. Couldn't be happier with this tour.

Great experience in a small group and nice guides - The tour was very nice. The guide told us everything in detail and questions could be asked at any time. The groups are small, which I really liked. Generally it was not very touristy, which was very pleasant. Only the pick-up for the tour I would complain. I was outside the pick-up radius and had to take an Uber. That was a shame because of the price for the tour. For the way back we were ordered an Uber, which took over the tour. I can only recommend the Everglades to anyone. A must on every bucket list.

Engaging Tour - Great tour! Ryan was very knowledgeable and took good care of us. We had one day to see the Everglades and felt we got a good overview of the different environments, from sawgrass to gulf.

A Magical Day in the Everglades: Wildlife, History, and Hidden Gems! - Wow, what a magical day in the Everglades! We were in town for a short trip and wanted to escape the hustle of the city. It was the perfect opportunity to learn more about the region and connect with nature. We opted for the full-day adventure with a dry walk, and it was both fun and educational. The wildlife was incredible— we saw birds, alligators, dolphins, and even a manatee! The boat rides were unique and offered a fantastic perspective of the Everglades. The highlight? The 10,000 Islands region of Everglades National Park, where we had the chance to see so many dolphins in their natural habitat. We also had a blast visiting the historic trading post and seeing the tiniest post office I've ever encountered! It was a fun little stop that added a charming, quirky touch to the day. Our guide was welcoming and informative, providing fascinating historical and biological insights about the area. The vehicle was comfortable and spotless, and the pick-up and drop-off were seamless. Plus, the shrimp tacos for lunch were a delicious treat! 10/10 would recommend. I truly feel like we discovered the "real" Florida, just as their tagline promises!

Lindsay was awesome and... - Lindsay was awesome and all aspects of the experience were fun. From picking us up at our hotel in Miami Beach to dropping us back off in the evening, everything was really well run and no time was wasted -- and we learned a bunch in the process!

A Little Short of Expectations - The tour guide Enock was great. What a wealth of knowledge, We were disappointed in the airboat ride as it was up a canal and back. Also, the visit at the Indian Village was omitted with no replacement for that feature. Highlight of trip was the boat ride to 1000 islands. That in itself was worth it. Seems like tour needs to review their information to make sure that is what they are delivering

Long hot tour but comprehensive - We took an Uber to be picked up at the airport Fairfield hotel. There were several quick transfers of people once we got to the park and the first event was an airboat ride. No fault of theirs but there had been a drought so the airboat trip was restricted to a canal parallel to the main highway. The guide was knowledgeable and we saw lots of birds and some alligators. It was not like the airboat rides you might have seen on TV or movies where you are skimming across submerged grasslands. More of a slow tour. The next stop was the Big Cypress National Preserve. There is a boardwalk with informational signs and a water filled ditch full of alligators and more birds. We then headed to a great little funky restaurant for lunch which was delicious. The hostess was a fun friendly local woman who accommodated a little girl who decided she didn't like shrimp after all; she cooked her up a hamburger for no extra charge. We then took a great boat ride at the far western edge of the Everglades park which is essentially the Gulf of Mexico with mangrove islands. The boat guide was very knowledgeable and had lived there his whole life. We saw lots of dolphins and some of them were jumping the wake behind us. We also saw a bald eagle and Ospreys close up. The last stop was a nature walk which unfortunately was brutally hot. The guide showed us lots of local plants that were used medicinally by the natives in the past - this part of the tour really wasn't very interesting after seeing the 10th plant that looked like a weed. The best second part was when he took us into a tree covered jungle area where there are neat Cypress trees and a pool with a Mama alligator and its three babies. Very interesting plants. The guide Armando (not sure how to spell his name) was raised in the area and was very knowledgeable. However, he spent way too much time talking about how humans have damaged the ecosystem and how the park system and local Indians are mismanaging everything. He really should cut way back on that theme. With that said he is a very nice guy. There is a lot of driving on this tour especially from the city out and back. There's nothing you can do about this but just keep it in mind as we left at about 8:00 AM and didn't get back until almost 6:00 PM. There was drinking water but it wasn't offered until near the end of the tour. At that time we were given water bottles to keep. I suggest doing that early in the tour rather than toward the end. Make sure to tip each guide!
