Upon arrival, a boat tour will be taken to explore the main beaches from the sea: Puerto Angelito, Carrizalillo, Manzanillo, Playa Coral, and Zicatela. The adventure continues with a sea excursion to spot turtles, dolphins, or whales during their migration.
Following this, the renowned Zicatela beach will be visited to soak up the sun and warm sand. Upon reaching Punta Zicatela, there will be time to relax, unwind from daily stresses, or engage in optional activities based on personal preferences, such as savoring local cuisine, taking surf lessons, visiting a beach club, renting bicycles or quads, or participating in the release of baby turtles at day’s end, which promises to be an unforgettable experience. Puerto Escondido - Excellent experience. Nice smooth ride down to beach. Our guide Gustavalo was very attentive and we had a great time and the boat trip was fun.

Recommended - It’s worth it, if you want to have a day to go to see whales and dolphins, get to know the local market, release baby turtles into the sea and see a great sunset.

Full Day Excursion to Puerto Escondido - Excellent option for a full day excursion! Though the highway is still very much under construction, which led to an additional hour for the trip, the van was super comfortable. I appreciated the team of Eduardo and Angel! They were very accommodating, drove excellent, and shared wonderfully insightful knowledge about the regions.
Overall, if you're looking for a full day of a Puerto Escondido escape, then this would be the best choice. I highly recommend brining a lot of pesos and don't feel obligated to eat at the restaurant that they take you to to begin the day. I prefer finding my own food selections. As a solo traveling female, I felt very safe and would approve this for any other people who want their safety prioritized.

The turtles were worth it - This was a great experience. The tour guide had a different itinerary than what we signed up for. This is mostlikely due to it being a Sunday. But we were able to add the two things that meant the most to us and had a great time. The guide was new but did his best to translate for us.

Great concept. - This excursion/itinerary is a fabulous concept.
Visit Puerto Escondido to then come back to Oaxaca on the same day.
I cannot go into details as perhaps they are specific to the excursion I participated in, nevertheless, the execution of the experience needs to be reviewed and revamped.

Beach, drinks,and relaxation! - This was a great beach day! No worries and great relax day! We like that the guide Israel was very open to what we wanted to do! Ate, drank and relaxed. Saw dolphins and turtles! Great for a wind down day!

Buy with civitatis for turtle included - The only reason this is getting four stars is because of JOSE our tour guide!!! He is really the most awesome tour guide I’ve had!!!! He was so caring when the company insisted I pay for the turtle release instead of honoring their word. José took very good care of us and gave us enough time to really feel relaxed. Jose took us to the coffee tasting, chocolate tasting, have alight breakfast, plenty of time of the boat ride and looking for whales. Now it’s not always guaranteed since it’s Mother Nature but the boat ride was awesome you can even buy drinks and take them with you. I had the pleasure of also having José as a tour guide to another tour and he was just as caring. Tips: in order to receive the free turtle to release you must book directly with Paraiso huatulco in which they add 3% to the price or through civitatis tour company which is cheaper. If you book through Viator you will need to pay 250 mx. which isn’t bad but I spoke to a representative she explained what was included and than even recommended I book through Viator if I felt more comfortable. Also they don’t pick you up from your hotel due to the festivities but at night when we are getting dropped off I couldn’t comprehend why they won’t drop us off closer. On this tour or to etla. Either way Jose made this experience an unforgettable and the hiccups with the company weren’t his fault.

Not a good experience, tour operator cancelled the night before. - Tour operator cancelled and I am waiting for my refund, will not recommend, not a good experience, we were excited and cancelled because there’s not enough people.

Stay away, It's a scam! - Don't wast your time, you risk loosing a full day!!
They contacted me asking if I wanted to change date, not easy for us but we managed to change another planned tour - but at the end they never showed up and we lost the day.
Thankfully I managed to get refunded from TripAdvisor.

More torture than pleasure! - This tour promises what it didn't delivered. It says that it takes 2:30 minutes to get to the beach, but it was 3:30, so we spend 7 hours on the road. What for? It was promised that we will have an opportunity to participate in turtles rescue, but tour guide said we don't have a time for it. Instead we spend 2 hours on the beach in 90 F. Beach itself has very strong tide so there are cables for people to hold for. No way to relax and enjoy the sea. There are many good beaches around. Don't understand why they choose the worse beach in my life. Only good thing was one hour boat tour, but 7 hours in uncomfortable van for one hour boat tour?
Whole thing was more torture than pleasure!
