• Teotitlan del Valle - In our second stop, we visit Teotitlan del Valle, in a family workshop where this community is famous for the natural dyes that are made from roots, flowers and insects, the most important being the Red color of the cochineal grana. Our Guide together with the artisan will give us a demonstration of the process, dyes and products made from sheep’s wool. - Santa Maria del Tule - The first stop on our tour is a brief but very interesting stop to get to know the famous Tule Tree, the widest tree in the world. Optional Entrance Not Included ($20MXN) - Zona Arqueologica de Mitla - We will also visit the second most important archaeological zone in Oaxaca, MITLA, unique in its kind due to the fine fretwork that decorates its palaces. Our guide will share the history of the place along with his passion for the site.
