Nice tour, thorough, easy access, great way to spend a few hours in Oaxaca - Good tour overall. Easy to find the meeting spot in the zocalo. Left on time. Tour guide handled all the details of entry. Tour guide was very thorough in his explanation of things which many would enjoy. I was a bit overwhelmed with the some of the info so left the group tour about 1/2 way thru to just spend time wandering around and looking. But then I met up with the group at the meeting point so i could use the transportation back to city center.

Amazing tour! - Miguel was honestly incredible. He is such natural story teller and so knowledgeable, I could listen to him talk all day about the history here. The driver is also super skilled and professional. I highly recommend this tour and bring sunscreen and hats!

Great insight to the culture of Monte Alban and it’s people - A fantastic tour lead by Miguel. He is very knowledgeable and has great insight into the history and culture of Monte Alban. A descendant of the Zapotec people, he adds much to the experience!

Monte Alban Guided Tour - The tour was excellent. The bus was comfortable and on time and our guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful. He is an expert on the history of the area.
You can tour the site on your own but I’d highly recommend our guide. We went to the Museo de las Culturales de Oaxaca the following day and his history lesson of the topic made it much more meaningful.

Our tour guide was... - Our tour guide was amazing - so knowledgeable and engaging. One of the best historical tours I've been on. We started off early when it was cool and even though the site gets hot as the sun rises, our guide was very accommodating and found nice shady spots to stop and tell us things, had a magazine with him to show visuals, and had lots of good anecdotes.

Amazing tour! - Great tour of Monte Alban. Miguel was such a good tour guide and fit a lot of information in just a few hours but was very interesting and engaging. I highly recommend doing a tour instead of just going to the ruins on your own. You get much more insight and understanding of the zapotec people. Communication and transport were a breeze. I highly recommend this tour!

A must in Oaxaca - Amazing half day tour in Monte Alban, located on top of a hill with great views of the plateau. Miguel is the absolute best, also the best guide we had so far in Mexico. He explained everything that one could in such a short time. I recommend it to everyone.
