Dive into the mezcal world with a tour along magueyero roads, the source of mezcal production, aboard a mobile barrel. Visit plantations, partake in rituals, and stop by a pulqueria to sample Pulque, Curados, Mead, and Tepache. Next, at the Mezcal Artesanal distillery, learn about and engage in the mezcal production and packaging process, and explore a ripening winery. Finally, enjoy a tasting of 10 different artisanal mezcals, learning how to properly taste mezcal, and gain insights into the Designation of Origin, Categories, Classes, and the diverse agaves used in its creation.

This journey starts in the historic heart of the city, where the meeting point is set, and you will be picked up in one of our vehicles.

For the initial experience, the destination is Santiago Matatlan, renowned as the Mezcal Capital of the World. Here, participants will engage in the mezcal-making process.

You will have the opportunity to cut agave, taste cooked maguey, bottle your own mezcal, and explore our aged mezcal cellar.

The highlight is yet to come, with a tasting session of over 12 different Mezcales. If you find a favorite, feel free to sample it again.

Finally, a visit to the maguey fields will reveal why this plant is so remarkable.
