Fun excursion - Had a great time on this tour. The view at Hierve el Agua was amazing! Pools were cute but didn't spend too much time in them as the rocks were a little slippery. Had a good time at the Mezcal Distillery Tour. It's a short tour but had a great time with the tasting. Braulio and our driver were amazing! So fun and really showed us a great time. They stopped at a vendor on the side of the road when we expressed interest in seeing some of the insects that were in the mezcal.

Amazing - Loved the tour guide Margarita!!! She was so funny! Favorite part was the Mezcal tour, she really took of us and was super knowledgeable! And the bakery actually had GOOD food. Usually the tours take you to some expensive bad restaurant. But the bakery was cheap and delicious! Gladly got a Tamal with a hot chocolate.

Great hike and worthwhile mezcal tasting. - The hike was great. An hour and 15 mins for the 'long' variety. Waterfalls are great, but the real treat is the ponds for swimming with a view. Maguerita, our guide was awesome and super fun to hang out with. The distillery tour was fun and they sent above and beyond for the mezcal tasting. We tasted 7 different mezcals (some more than once) and a handful of cremas as well. Let's just say that we got our moneys worth during the tasting. 10/10 will recommend. Salud.

- Hierve el Agua is not to be missed if you are visiting Oaxaca. I think we really lucked out with this tour, there was plenty of time to hike and cool off in the pools, and our tour guide Margherita was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. This is a great experience for people who like to travel independently but want a reliable way to visit Hierve el Agua. We also really enjoyed visiting the distillery and learning a ton about mezcal. They were incredibly generous with the tasting and we had so much fun!

Must see when visiting Oaxaca! - Great tour, this is a must do when visiting Oaxaca! We did the ~1.5 hour hike around Hierve el Agua with a guide, and then took a dip in the pools. You can change into a swimsuit if you want or just on the ledge like I did. We grabbed a quick lunch there and then visited the Valle Oaxaca mezcal distillery for a tour and mezcal tasting. We got to learn about the 7 types of mezcal and taste all of them plus other variations. You should ask them to give you just a small pour of each one, otherwise they'll give you a full pour of each which is too much!

Good way to see Hierve de Agua - A great way to see Hierve de Agua! We first stopped at a bakery to try local bread and then drove to the park. You get 3 hours to hike, swim, and eat, which is enough time if you time it right. We liked the free structure, rather than having guided time. However, you have to keep track of time to get back to the meeting point to leave. There are changing rooms and showers and a variety of food stands selling traditional dishes. Afterward we went and learned about mezcal and tasted some varieties. Our group was very lively and fun and the ride back was a mini party! Overall a very fun and solid experience, with fun guides and an easy itinerary.

Perfect half day tour! - We had a great time visiting Hierve el Agua with Oaxaca by Locals and our guide Braulio. We enjoyed visiting the bakery, and then we had plenty of time to explore hierve el agua on our own once we got there. The trip to the mezcal distillery was very informative and fun! Highly recommend!
