Great trip! - Take snacks with you as there are only stalls at the top! Remember sun cream as it’s really hot & hardly any shade. We didn’t do the hike as we got there at midday so was super hot, instead just walked to a little hut you can see after dipping in the pools. The pools are not warm!!

Great day out - Great day out! Easy pick up from the pick up point. Our guide was really lovely. You get the option once you arrive to go on a hike with a guide first then onto the pools. I would only go on the hike if you are fit and used to walking as it's very hot there and a steep walk back to the pools. You can't wear suncream in the water so make sure you bring a hat and loose top to swim in. There's places to buy food and drink, as well as changing rooms, showers and toilets. Would recommend!

Great tour, great guide, great time! - Had an amazing tour, our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the area, the people and the agave/mezcal! He showed us important sights on the drive in and was really helpful at explaining each stage of the tour and making sure we were having a good time. Thank you so much!

Hierve el Auga - We met the van at 10:30 am and drove to the site. By the time we started down the trail it was around noon. We hiked down to view the waterfall and then had to hike up a very steep climb in the blazing heat. I was feeling unwell and likely had heat exhaustion. I would have been a much better trip had it started earlier rather that at the hottest part of the day. Our guide was very caring and once I got in the mineral pools I felt much better.

Freezing cold! - Tour is meh. Expensive bus ride to the falls. There are many reviews out there describing this as hot springs... It is NOT. The hike is steep, if you are not used to it or are old so be mindful and water is freezing cold. The food at the courts is great. Best quesadilla ever.
