James was Awesome - Tour was a highlight of our trip. Our guide James was one of the best. We had an easy ride out with lunch and he was full of facts. Definitely worth doing-and the twin islands tour was worth the extra money.

Perfect start to our Hawaii vacation! - My girlfriend and I booked a tour for our first full day in O'ahu and we had a blast. Mike was our tour guide and I'm sure all the guides are great but Mike was phenomenal. He was extremely nice, took everyone at a safe pace, had lots of very interesting local stories and historical context to add to the trip, and overall made the whole thing a wonderful experience. The trip out to the island is a bit of a workout but we had everything explained and Mike was always close to make sure we knew where to go. We wiped out once going in and somehow also managed to wipe out once going out from the destination island but Mike saved us both times. On the island, Mike took us around to all the places we could visit and gave us some of his personal experiences and plenty of history of the island and the local area which made the experience great. Food was provided, we went snorkeling and had a nice leisurely trip back. Mike also took a bunch of great photos throughout the trip and provided them to us at the end. Great experience that I would highly recommend.

Twin Islands Tour! - Amazing time and Tupre was awesome. It was just me and my husband for this adventure and it was so fun. Loved hearing all the info about the wildlife and it was wonderful getting our own personal tour with Tupre. We even got to see honu close up and a monk seal! Honestly, can it get better than that? Don’t think so!

family kayak adventure with older teens and great guide - Took our older teens out to the twin Island kayak tour for a wholesome family adventure with our knowledgeable guide Evelyn. I am a novice kayaker, intimidating at first, but before we knew it, we were enjoying lunch on an island in the sun with the kids. Highly recommend

Whadda day!! - We had a blast with Mike! We learned, laughed, explored... What a great day! Having the guide boosted the safety by a dozen fold, and we'd never have swum with sea turtles without him.

would do again - Did the 5 hr guided kayak tour to Mokulua at 11 am with Kailua Beach Adventures about a week ago and had some great memories! Went into the tour on my own, with 7 other ppl and Tupre as our guide. This was the first time I've done kayaking, though I'm a guy of moderate physical fitness and I've done mild canoeing before. Tupre was welcoming, positive, and checked in on me throughout, so I felt at ease. He knowledgeably handled our group, whether in explaining the tour plan and paddling, or physically assisting launches. Was a sunny day and the 60-80 min paddle each-way was fun for me. I took meclizine the night before, so thankfully I had no prob with bumpiness. We could see the reef right under the water, and Tupre pointed out a small sea turtle for us. I didn't get as tired as I feared, though I was a slow kayaker lol, but the bigger waves near Mokulua were challenging for everyone - 2 of our kayaks flipped going in/out there. On Mokulua, we got lucky and saw 3 monk seals resting on the beach, though they made our landing and lunch area pretty small, since there was a DLNR person making sure we gave the seals their space, and a few other kayakers were already there too. Tupre walked us through some rocky paths around Mokulua and pointed out the interesting wildlife and landmarks all around us - I learned that shoreline purslane is edible and salty - and offered a few photo ops along the way if you didn't want to risk bringing your phone, before reaching the Queen's Bath and a dip there if you wanted. Tour also included lunch of turkey sandwich, chips, juice/water on the beach before or after the walk (bring sunscreen, I could feel my calves roasting while I ate). The views of the Oahu coastline and Moku Iki were gorgeous. Unfortunately no snorkeling since Mokulua currents were too rough, but I wasn't even sad. Looking back on it all, I'd be happy to do this tour again if I'm back on Oahu.
