From beginning to end,... - From beginning to end, this luau took me by surprise! My fiancé and I had a blast learning how to peel coconuts and watching the men demonstrate coconut tree climbing, their strength is insane!! I had a mai tai and upgraded to have it in a pineapple, which made it even better. The food was amazing, the Mac salad took the cake for me and my fiancé loved the chicken. On top of that, the performance blew us away and we loved seeing the different dance styles, especially the fire portion! All in all, this family-owned luau was an experience we won’t forget and felt incredibly authentic to Hawaiian and Polynesian culture.

Highly recommended - This was an incredible experience. Soooo I got the directions wrong and long story short, we were an hour and 20 minutes late. My family was NOT happy with me. The folks at Toa Luau texted me and asked if we were on or way and I told them yes, but we would be late. When we got there, they were so kind and accommodating. They got us drinks and showed us to our table and brought us food right away. The food was delicious and then the dancing started and it was great. Highly recommend! Make sure you get address ahead of time. It’s not hard to find, just make sure your navigator is competent!!!😊😊😊🌺🏖️🏝️☀️

Amazing experience - The Tua Luau was an amazing experience. My wife and I have been to three other Luau’s hosted by other companies on past vacations 10-25 years ago, but Tua Luau really stood out. This time we travelled as a family of five. We booked the Gold level as the Silver level was sold-out. After the check-in process, it didn’t feel like we were at a typical dinner show, but rather being invited over to a close friend’s or relative’s home. All of us really appreciated and enjoyed the cultural and educational activities before the main show. The staff paid extra attention and made a special meal to accommodate our daughter’s nut allergy. The food was great and served pre-plated to each guest while seated at their respective tables. Each guest is given drink ticket(s) (how many depend on which package level you purchase). We felt one drink ticket per person would’ve been plenty, as redeeming additional tickets likely meant you had to miss part of festivities. The host of the show was very engaging. The performers and musicians were very talented. Even though each person has likely performed several times for past shows, they each gave their full and enthusiastic effort, appearing to have fun at the same time, despite the hard workout. As a bonus, the tour price includes admission to the Waimea Botanical Garden and Waimea falls. The Garden by itself is an outstanding attraction. Overall, Tua Luau is worth the drive from the Waikīkī area.

Just buy the tickets already, you won't regret it! :) - I waited to book this Luau until I was in Hawaii. I wanted to be sure I booked an authentic Luau, because there were many different options available. I researched "the best Luau on O'ahu," and this was top-rated on TripAdvisor. They most definitely got it right. This was the cheapest Luau I've seen out of all the other options, but do not let that fool you or make you think this Luau is any "less." It was the most wonderful experience, and there were so many things included in the price. My husband and I were in O'ahu for 5 days, we toured and visited many things, and this was hands down the highlight for me of our entire trip. We had a 12:30 Luau, and honestly, I thought I would prefer a night Luau, but it worked out perfectly because we could sightsee afterwards and drive to the beach after. Do not hesitate to book this, you will not regret it! Worth every penny spent!

If you are looking for a Luau experience, look no further! - This is an absolute must book experience! There were many options for Luaus, but through looking at the reviews and even talking with some fellow tourists, it is clear why Toa Luau is so highly recommended! The overall experience was engaging and entertaining. The host "Cousin Billy" was fantastic. With a great sense of humor and overall welcoming spirit. The food was better than any of the restaurants I'd dined at on the island, and the show was fantastic. Then, to really add the cherry on top, this Luau is located in Waimea Valley. So you can hike the accessible and incredibly gorgeous path to the falls immersed in the tropical botanical gardens on the valley. Overall, this was such a highlight to my trip. I thank the entire staff for providing this one-of-a-kind experience and will highly recommend this incredible excursion to all whom I know will be visiting the beautiful island of Oahu.
