Best Luau we’ve ever experienced! - We’ve been to at least five luaus, and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had! The staff went above and beyond, and you could feel their passion from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, and splurging for the gold tickets was so worth it for the incredible view. The fire show was hands down the best we’ve ever seen, and the intimacy of the facility and performance truly sets it apart. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended Luau in North Shore Oahu - The Waimea Valley is picturesque, and a breathtaking backdrop for a Luau. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Everyone receives a fresh flower lei on arrival and a complimentary beverage at the bar. There are a number of interactive activities to enjoy on arrival, that is very instructive about Polynesian Culture. There are demonstrations of coconut husking and tree climbing, and traditional cooking. The entertainers are very funny, personable, and informative. The luau was delicious - a set plate with Hawaiian luau food. The entertainment was beautifully orchestrated and inclusive in parts for attendees. You are left feeling part of the Ohana - family when you leave. Highly recommended.

Expectations blown away. Simply amazing experience. Can't wait to visit again! - The scenery was fantastic and we really enjoyed the immense variety of flora in the valley. The waterfall was pretty and we had fun swimming in the pool at the base of the falls. If you don't want to walk to it they have a shuttle which I believe is $10 per person. As for the luau. Before it begins there are crafts and skills that you can participate in like palm weaving, coconut scraping, and my favorite which was ripping the husk off the coconut. The one you husk you get to have it cracked open and you can enjoy the coconut water inside, then scrape the nut out of the shell. Pretty cool! All this happens right before so if you want to participate in these activities don't procrastinate because once the show starts these activities go away. The MC was amazing and his talks were engaging and sincere which we enjoyed and appreciated. The show progresses through a tour of different cultures and their historic dances that can be found around the Polynesian Islands. Super fun and also very cool. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. They bring the food to your table but don't worry they will give you more if you ask. The pork was my favorite, very tender, and ridiculously juicy so of course I got seconds. Usually when attending events like these, or any other for that matter, you can find something that was off or may have fallen short of your expectations, however, honestly this luau exceeded them in every way. I'm eagerly waiting for the next trip out to the islands so I can indulge once again in this amazing experience at Toa Luau! Mahalo for the wonderful time and may God Bless you and your families!

Worth the drive - The whole crew and I mean everybody was above and beyond great. From the moment we entered we met and became friends with them. Became ‘Ohana’. The crew works so hard from setup to activities with the guest to the meal and then to the entertainment. So much entertainment. Absolutely awesome

A great, intimate Luau: fantastic performers, beautiful venue & great food!! - This was our first trip to Hawaii and we were looking for a good luau. Toa Luau certainly did not disappoint! Here's why: first, there is a LUNCH time show, where I think is the best option for families young/old. We arrived there around 1.5 hours early, enough to enjoy the Waimea Valley and the waterfall (included in the Luau admission). Second, when the luau time came, we were greeted and enjoyed the pre-Luau activities. There was plenty of time for us to enjoy the activities once over, but the lines for the drinks were a bit long (we do not drink alcohol but there are non-alcoholic options). We didn't know this but the staff that does the pre-activities are the same performers who perform the dances and staff that serves us the food! It made for an intimate feel of the whole luau experience (and third: the luau itself wasn't that big! so no matter where you are seated, you are relatively close to the stage). Fourth: you do not need to line up for the food, the food comes to you! So you are not wasting your time, AND you can always have seconds and thirds by asking the staff who are always around. Fifth: the food are delicious, of high quality, and in good portion! Sixth: the performance itself was FANTASTIC -- the performers were all charismatic and very skillful, and the MC was engaging. The whole experience feels authentic and nothing gimmicky at all. By the end of the show, we oddly felt "connected" to them in some way, having seen them in so many roles throughout the day. Finally, you are free to leave the luau by 4 PM, plenty of time to explore the North Shore or have a nice slow drive back to where ever you are. I highly recommend Toa Luau to anyone!! It worth renting a car for a day to go to this Luau for sure. P.S. Bring your fresh flower leis but do not throw them! You can hang them in the trees, release them to the ocean (cut the string first!) or offer as offerings to the many statues around the island.

Excellent luau - family fun - An amazing authentic luau. Our son’s (11 yr old) first trip to the island and he absolutely loved the experience. Enjoyed the hands on activities. Loved the story and history of the Polynesian culture. The host was personable and funny and made the night enjoyable. A great way to start our week. The food was delicious, generous portions, great variety and we loved the non-buffet style. Excellent!!!! So glad we got to enjoy this experience.
