- Kailua Beach Park - We’ll start by gathering on the beach to assemble our Outrigger Canoe. After a brief orientation and putting on life vests, we’ll paddle for about 10 minutes to reach the Flat Island surf spot. Next, we’ll spend an hour canoe surfing the gentle waves, enjoying the thrilling Hawaiian coaster ride. Afterward, we’ll head to Flat Island for a refreshing drink and a light snack. This will be a perfect opportunity to take photos of Kailua Bay, the beach, Lanikai, Twin Islands, and the Koolau Mountain Range. Finally, we’ll paddle back to the shore. You’ll leave with unforgettable memories of your ocean adventure.

Ride a surfing canoe with a private tour guide at “ Flat Island “. Canoe surfing is an easy workout and an exhilarating thrill ride. After a few rides you will feel a wonderful sense of accomplishment. The views back towards Kailua Bay, Twin Islands , and the Koolau Mountains are only seen from standing on Flat Island . If you’re lucky you will see the sea turtles out in the bay.
