Excellent instructor, best surfing experience! - Mike was the best instructor. He was friendly, funny and knowledgeable and made my husband and I feel comfortable right away. The shore instruction was quick and to the point and he got us right out to the water to give it a try. We both got up on our first wave!! Had great conversation, a blast surfing and can’t wait to do it again.

Amazing Experience - Rio was amazing in teaching my wife and I how to surf for the first time. He made sure we got enough pointers to get up and surf but didn't push too hard. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to about things in Hawaii and life in general and made the entire experience very fun. Mike was also extremely knowledgeable and fun to be around and made sure we had an awesome experience. We had an amazing time and would recommend Rio and Mike if you're a first time surfer!

The best tutor! - Mike is really the best! I was lucky enough to be the only one in the lesson. He explained the basics well for me to understand and gave me most of the time in the lesson in the water to actually practice. It was a great first lesson, and I strongly recommend Mike!!!

First time and rode for a min straight! - Mike is an amazing instructor! Clear and concise advice was given, it’s up to open ears to be able to learn the skill. My first time ever and by the end of the lesson I was able to stand for about a minute riding back in! Similar to wakeboarding and snowboarding. Less control while surfing but having good balance definitely helps!

Great instruction & fun, safe adventure! - Mike is an excellent instructor! From the communication prior to the lesson to the expert instruction to providing video and photo, he is outstanding. He encourages ease and comfort in the water and on the board. Next time, I’ll bring my family! Super fun!

I learned to surf!!! - Michael was very helpful in rescheduling my lesson to the following day. TJ my instructor was hella cool and very instructive. I surfed a few times when I was a kid but he helped me get my mojo back in a couple of waves. I highly recommend.

Ride the waves and capture the magic with Mike's Surf Lessons - I had the most incredible surfing lesson of my life today! Mike, the instructor, was extremely professional, patient, caring, and provided me with numerous useful tips to improve my skills. The location is absolutely stunning, uncrowded, and the waves seemed never-ending. Plus, you can spot sea turtles swimming nearby! The camera attached to the board is a fantastic addition, allowing you to watch your rides and store precious memories. I highly recommend this experience for surfers of any level.
