I swam with sharks! - I loved this. I can hold my breath a little longer than most and so when I dove down towards the sharks I could really enjoy the moment before going back up for air. Also, when I was down 10 to 20 feet, you can really hear the whales making a lot of noise which was cool. I was fortunate to get to see a hammerhead shark pretty close, which apparently is pretty rare(?).

Highly recommended! - It was so informative and enlightening, that alone was worth the tour. The team provided safety and a really good feeling during the dive - it was a great experience and I want to repeat that again. Can only recommend it to anyone, much better than in the cage and just as safe!

An absolute must! Bucket list checked! - If I could leave 10 stars I would! An absolute “must do” if in Oahu! The crew was exceptional, all female team 👊, and never once was I scared … the safety divers were fantastic, kind, knowledgeable and knew exactly how to keep everyone safe … I would go back in a heartbeat, might book 2 back to back tours next time! Mahalo!

Best. Day. EVER!!! - Absolutely incredible! This was a once in a lifetime experience and I could not recommend it enough. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and helpful, I felt safe the entire time. We spent the morning swimming with a huge tiger shark and got to see a bunch of oceanic black tip sharks. One of the most incredible experiences of my life. I really appreciate that they also push for conservation. I 100% recommend this activity.

The most magical experience I've ever had. - This experience was absolutely LIFE-CHANGING and that's not an exaggeration! I went into this adventure completely blind (my sister planned it all), and it turned out to be the most magical experience I've ever had. I still can't stop talking about it!
Our safety divers, Gina and Faith, were exceptional. They created an environment where I felt safe and confident in the water. Liko drove the boat and Brett was our photographer. Every team member contributed to making this experience unforgettable. So much so, that my mother had originally only signed up for the ride along and she decided to get into the water with us! I'm already recommending it to everyone I know who's planning a trip to Hawaii. It's impossible to oversell how incredible this adventure was!
And I highly recommend the photo package! You will want those photos and videos!

A MUST DO while on Oahu! - Incredible Experience! Glad we signed up to cap our visit to Oahu. Reservations were easy to make through the website (go early in the morning!). Communication was good leading up to the start time. Special thanks to our team Marina, Tyler, Andrew, Kio and Skye for getting us out to the sight and back safely. The educational portion on the interaction with, and conservation of, the sharks was comprehensive and entertaining. The experience in the water was unlike anything else being plopped right down where so many sharks were. Thanks to all involved for such a great memory.
**Addendum, the photo pack/Gopro footage was a great addition to the shots I got. Definitely glad I sprung for those as well.

Go in calmer weather - Our tour was cancelled on the 22/12 because massive swell came through. We were moved to the following day and if I’m honest I wish we’d cancelled. The swell was still up. Half the guests were vomiting off the side. Holding on to the side ropes was hectic. My daughter bumped her head on the boat while holding on to the rope. We’re a surfing, boating family and spend a lot of time on the water. The guides tried their very best in trying circumstances and tried to find us sharks but we only saw a few but the knowledge they shared was great. For the money spent I wish I’d done something else. I’m sure it’s a great tour in calmer months.

Worst Experience Ever - We confirmed our private charter booking on March 1st, and did not receive any further communication from One Ocean Diving until exactly 24 hours before the dive. Only then — the morning before the activity — did they send an email suddenly changing the schedule.
This is completely unacceptable and feels like a manipulative loophole — sending a schedule change email exactly 24 hours in advance leaves no room for a real decision, and still allows them to hide behind their “24-hour cancellation policy.” What if we had replied immediately saying we couldn’t make it? Would they still charge us for “late notice”? That’s absurd.
To make things worse, we booked a private charter — there were no other guests involved. So why were they in such a rush to leave before the confirmed time? Their actions were entirely unprofessional and show a complete lack of respect for their customers.

Do it with another company! - I was eagerly looking forward to my experience with One Ocean Diving, having followed them for so long, but unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. The crew left mixed impressions: Matt, who explained everything to us, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and professional. However, the other crew member, a woman responsible for our group’s safety and GoPro video footage, seemed to be in a bad mood throughout the trip. This impacted the overall experience, especially since the videos she captured were dizzying, poorly executed, and not worth the extra money I paid for them. Unfortunately the footage from both guides, were poorly executed.
The sharks themselves were incredible and absolutely the highlight of the trip. However, the setup in the water was not ideal. You’re required to hold onto a rope at all times, which makes you bob up and down with the boat. This can be quite nauseating for some. The only time you’re allowed to let go of the rope is when the guide calls you over to take videos, but even then, the water currents often push you forward and backward, causing you to bump into other people in the group, which made the experience feel chaotic at times.
Defenitely recommend the shark dive but with another company! Did one a week after and the experience was so so much better!
