Best sunset tour EVER! - I was pleasantly surprised with this sunset cruise. We were set to sail from 530PM-7PM, but the actual sunset was at around 7:15 PM. The crew kept us out for the actual sunset which was beyond what we paid for. The crew was young and energetic and very attentive to all passengers on the crew. They even went around and took drink orders and brought back drinks for some patrons, including my kids. The bar situation was also impressive. Typically on these cruises where they have free drinks, it's pretty cheap booze. That was not the case on this trip. They had actual mixed drinks and good beer. We each got 1 drink tickets. Drinks beyond that were a cash bar situation, but drinks were still inexpensive. I could have done this cruise at sunset every night we were there. It was so relaxing and enjoyable. I do recommend either paying to board the ship early or getting to the meeting spot 30 minutes in advance so that you can get on board early to get a good seat.

Wonderful experience worth doing - The sunset cruise was the very last thing we did before flying home, and what a way to end the trip! We went sailing mid-July, and the water was calm, with only mild waves. The views of Waikiki, Diamondhead, and the ocean are spectacular. Happily, the clouds accommodated us and gave us a wonderful sunset, after which we cruised back to the beach. When you're out on the water, you're actually sailing; they turn off the engines and raise the sails, which makes for a wonderfully quiet time. And it's fun to watch the crew do all of that. Julia, Cpt. Jenna, and the bartender (whose name I unfortunately forget) were fabulous. Be sure to talk to them - they're experienced sailors with a wealth of knowledge to share. I REALLY enjoyed talking to Julia about the catamaran and also about the ocean life. One fun thing: you board DIRECTLY on the beach, and in the evening (at least in July) there are mild waves crashing ashore, so Julia lines you up and sends people one at a time in between the waves. Go fast, or you might get wet! We actually had a really good time with that. I give them more than five stars. Totally worth it!

Sunset Sail - All accolades to the awesome crew on this cruise 21/6/2025 Special shout out to Cameron. What a gorgeous go ahead guy. He represented his crew with a great caring friendly attitude. His knowledge of sailing 10/10 re safety information and instilling good confidence to first time sailors. He checked on all passengers throughout the sail. Now the sail was brilliant. So pleased we decided to do this with their company. Recommend you sail with them 100%. Thanks boys - we will sing your praises to all our Aussie mates coming to Waikiki. Cheers Jayne and Greg

Disappointing Sunset Sail – Medical Issue Not Handled Well - I took my family on the sunset sail July 12th and didn’t have a good experience. A little clear communication from the crew after a passenger was injured could have changed everything. After setting the sails, we rounded the point at Diamond Head, and everyone was having a blast as the boat rocked with a few swells. During one swell, a passenger at the back of the boat ended up with a head injury and was bleeding heavily. Note, I didn’t see the injury occur, but I did see him immediately after. The captain quickly turned the boat for shore and the crew attended to the passenger. At several points during the return trip, the first mate was piloting the boat yet seemed confused how to adjust the sails to plot the correct course, pulling the captain away from the passenger (I have decades of sailing experience and could tell he was frazzled). It wasn’t until we were nearly back to shore that the first mate announced to the passengers that we were returning to drop off passengers that had become sea sick. Why lie? Anyone half paying attention knew there was an injured passenger. If that were true, is it normal to interrupt the cruise for sea sick passengers!? After dropping off the passenger (no medics waiting on shore) even though he had bloody bandages wrapped around his head, the captain took us out about 100 yards from shore so we could catch what was left of the sunset while the crew focused on filing out what I assumed were incident reports. I asked the first mate why he lied about the situation, especially since people knew what was going on. His explanation was that he was trying to not further embarrass the passenger. Lying only served to further erode trust in the crew. I’m grateful the passenger walked off the boat under his own power. It’s unfortunate that the crew failed to communicate or even apologize that the our experience was impacted by some “sea sick” passengers.
