A MUST BOOK—couldn’t recommend more! - I ENTHUSIASTICALLY RECOMMEND hi 5 tours! My sister booked a full day private tour for our extended family (12 of us—ages 4 though 80), and it could not have been a better experience! JK and Kia picked us up at our hotel with hot, fresh, delicious Malasadas (local donuts), and greeted each one of us by name! From the jump it was clear that JK cares deeply for adventure, relationship, the island, and curating fun, adventure-filled learning and bonding moments. As we started to drive, he took the time to have each of us go around and share our hopes and dreams for the day and then, on the spot, used his knowledge of local resources and years of connections to curate a day that exceeded all of our expectations! He was so good with my young children, even helping them out of the waterfall when they were ready for a break so that my husband and I could continue to swim and enjoy the experience. (AND accommodating without hesitation when we had to backtrack to the beach for a lost pair of shoes!) He ran ahead and ordered us the MOST delicious hurricane fries (a must try!) so that we had a snack in the car without having to wait in the long line, and modified a pickup location on the beach when walking on the sand became a bit difficult for one member of our group. We never felt rushed, and our needs were seen and heard, always. It was hospitality at its finest! We fed goats, ate decorous ice cream, drank yummy coffee, hiked within beautiful Hawaiian nature, swam in a waterfall, ate delicious food truck food, enjoyed fresh shaved ice, saw sea turtles on the beach, splashed in the waves, and made a quick stop at the Dole Plantation. What a perfect combo of activities for our crew! At the end of the day, JK facilitated a closing time together during our ride back to the hotel, where we each shared some of our favorite moments. It was a great way to wrap up our time together (and, as a teacher, I really appreciated his intentionality with curating opportunities for us to name our experiences out loud to each other)! I 10 out of 10 recommend booking with Hi 5 Tours—it will be the first piece of advice I give friends who plan to travel to O’ahu. THANK YOU, JK and KIA!!

Private family tour - Our guide, Ryan, was knowledgeable and very nice We learned a lot as we went around the island. Our family group ranged from teenager to seventies and we all enjoyed the day. Recommend a tour with this company for sure.

Hi5 Day tour - Had the pleasure of going on the circular trip with the tour guide Ryan which was recommended through Waikiki Beachside Hostel. It was a fantastic day learning all about the history of the island, seeing sights and eating some great food.

Hi5 goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend! - We recently booked a private tour for a special occasion (with very short notice). My husband called before booking online and talked to the owner who left him with a great impression. We had the pleasure of having Auntie Kelly as our tour guide. She greeted us warmly and kind of like family, immediately feeling excited for our day. She communicated with us to get a sense of the things we were hoping to do/see and planned a wonderful itinerary. We started at the beautiful Tantalus Lookout, and explored the east side of the Island from there. Aunty Kelly is very outgoing, exceptionally knowledgeable and a wonderful storyteller. We were entertained and learned so much more than we ever could have had we visited these places on our own - thank you Aunty Kelly! Ryan was an amazing guide! - We had an amazing day today with Ryan our tour guide with Hi5 Circle Island Tours. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything and if he wasn't sure about something he'd Google and get us the answers we asked about by the time we returned to the van. We went for Coffee at a coffee plantation, for our pineapple fill at the Dole plantation, tasted and purchased macadamia nuts at a Macadamia farm, and went paddle boarding on a saltwater river. I know it was salt water because I fell in, lol. Plus we got a very intensive history tour that left me wanting to go to some of the places Ryan talked about.

Island tour with stops at various tourist attractions - Fabulous JK was just an awesome host, we had a taste and touch experience of a lot of local goods and sites. Would 100% recommend.

5 Star Private Tour - Ryan was amazing! He was personable, professional and knowledgeable. He also had a really bad start to his day which he didn't allow to affect him or our experience at all. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide and I highly recommend Ryan and Hi5 Tours.

Private island tour with Ryan - My family and I had a phenomenal tour with Ryan! He arrived at our resort with Leonard’s malasadas which were delicious! He took the time to talk with us and see what are must sees were. From there he created an itenarary that would include visits to Dole Plantation, Green World coffee farm, Sharks Cove, North End food trucks, Waimea Falls (unfortunately we couldn’t swim that day due to strong current from the storm rains), town of Halaweia! It was a fun packed day! I would highly recommend Ryan and Hi-5 tours!
