It commemorates the events of that day. If available, tickets for the Navy boat launch tour to the Arizona Memorial will be provided by the National Park on the day of your visit. Alternatively, the Arizona Memorial is visible from the Visitor Center’s shoreline.

- USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park - The USS Bowfin (SS-287), a fleet attack submarine that served in the Pacific during WWII, is celebrated for its role in the “Silent Service.” Launched on December 7, 1942, exactly one year after the Pearl Harbor attack, it earned the nickname “Pearl Harbor Avenger,” making its permanent home at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, particularly meaningful.

This thrilling tour of Pearl Harbor, Oahu provides a deep-dive into the history of World War II. From the location of the Pearl Harbor offensive by Japan to the USS Missouri where the surrender was signed, you get a chance to trace the brave path of America’s war heroes. The Arizona Memorial, the final resting place for more than 1,000 sailors who lost their lives in the 1941 assault, is a key site you’ll visit. The visitor center allows you to view various exhibits and historical displays at your leisure, and a visit to the USS Bowfin will educate you about its significant part in the WWII wars.
- Please contact the tour provider at minimum of 7 days prior to the tour date for ADA and all special requests.
- This tour does not operate on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day.
- On occasion and due to external factors outside of our control (including inclement weather, closure of the Memorial by the National Park Service and/or shortages of boat launch tickets), there is the possibility of not being able to visit the Arizona Memorial during your visit. You will still be able to visit the many exhibits at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and view the Arizona Memorial from the shoreline.
- Shirt and shoes are required to board the Arizona Memorial, swimsuits are not permitted. Strollers are not permitted in the theater or shuttle boats.
- NO BAG POLICY: The US Department of the Interior has declared a “no bags” policy at Pearl Harbor. Passengers may not carry any concealing items including purses, handbags, backpacks, diaper bags, etc. Small cameras are permitted but must not be in a bag. No items are allowed to be left on your tour vehicle. When going over to Ford Island to visit the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum and/or the Battleship Missouri, guests are required to carry government issued photo identification and NO BAGS are allowed on the vehicle. Ford Island is an active military base and guests may be asked by security personnel at any time for their identification to ensure a safe environment for all. It is recommended to bring on tour only vital items like your identification and wallet as long as these items fit in your pockets.

Awesome tour - Wes our bus driver was awesome and funny. He keep the tour moving and on time and made sure you understood where to be at what time, all the while being funny and entertaining. We saw the battleship Missouri, the aircraft museum, the Bowfin submarine with the Submarine museum, the Pearl Harbor visitor center, and the Airzona memorial. All of which are a must to understand what happened and how people were affected in the 1940s during WW2. Wes did not come with us to each area, He made sure we knew where to be and what time while he stayed with the bus so that we could come back any time before the cut off time.

Outstanding Deluxe Pearl Harbor Tour - I couldn’t have asked for a better tour experience! Everything was executed as promised. Pickup was seamless and on time. The bus was immaculate and tricked out with amenities. The tour professional was very friendly and supremely knowlegable about the history of Pearl Harbor and Hawai’i. I had the opportunity to see every exhibit - and there was no rush, plenty of time. Tickets were taken care of as part of the package-what a convenience! A tasty Hawaiian lunch was built into the package too- one less thing to have to worry about. If you want to see the entire spread: Pearl Harbor, the USS Arizona Memorial, the USS Bowfin submarine, the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, Ford Island Airport and the USS Missouri - THIS IS THE BEST way to do it. No need to worry about transportation or directions. No need to plan lunch. No need to deal with all the hassle surrounding various tickets to the different venues. I wholeheartedly recommend Polynesian Adventure Tours to anyone who wants to focus on enjoying (and not planning the logistics) for seeing all of these historic national treasures.

This tour was amazing. So... - This tour was amazing. So much packed into a full day. If history and military are in your wheelhouse this is the tour for you. Kenneth was friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip between destinations interesting and enjoyable. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough.

Great experience! - Excellent day with Chase as our driver and guide. He kept us on schedule, provided all of the information we needed, and we had plenty of time at each stop to see and do everything we wanted. Great experience!

Memorable day immersed in the history surrounding the events of Pearl Harbor with Chelsie, our wonderful tour guide - Our tour driver was Chelsie, and we give her 5 stars and the highest recommendation. She communicated with us prior to the trip so we were well prepared for security restrictions; the bus was very comfortable including a toilet and she maneuvered it expertly through the city streets. She entertained us with cultural and historical events while driving, and she also taught us how to pronounce Hawaiian words accurately.
The Pearl Harbor tour itself was a highlight of our vacation - both somber and respectful but also highly factual. We visited the USS Arizona monument to pay our respects, but we also had ample time to explore the submarine USS Bowfin and the USS Missouri, the final battleship to be decommissioned. Lunch in the Aviation Museum was hot and delicious, and we ate surrounded by beautifully preserved WWII airplanes.
This was a full day tour and it was one we will never forget. Thank you Chelsie for spending this day with us.
