Must see - Very poignant (especially during the Memorial Day weekend). The park could use some upgrades, especially on historical signage where some are too faded to read.

Remember - A moving tribute to the fallen. A reminder that nobody really wins a war - there are horrendous losses on both sides.

Great guide! - Our guide Keahi was very friendly nice and informative. He took us on an unexpected tour of downtown Honolulu which we really enjoyed along with the Pearl Hatbor memorial. The USS Arizona was so heartbreaking and a reminder of extreme sacrifice.

Rushed tour - A very rushed tour would’ve liked to spent more time at certain places and would’ve liked to gotten off the bus more than once.

This tour was not sold... - This tour was not sold very well as it was not very clear in the description as to what to expect .We happened to meet 3 other coupless on the bus who "Independently" had exactly the same view as us. This was not a tour or a guided tour as described. It was a nice young guide with no real idea about what we all wanted to see/hear. No stop offs for photos, but merely a bus driver dropping us of at the location. On arrival and after a 30 second briefing ( no repeats ), on where things generally were, we were left to our own deviices. 4 of our group missed the 30 seconds summary as they were handing there bags in to the security office at the time - no idea how they got on. After the event and returning to the meeting point, we were told that one couple had mis timed there return time and were a few minutes behind. Only after 35 minutes were we able to move again - really? - no plan B. ? . Viator is generally good at this stuff, but this one fell very short of the mark. The idea of no photo stops seemed to translate to how quick can we get them there, dropped off and get onto something else. Having travelled for a long time, I can see how the model has developed , but in reality it can sometimes work in reverse . I believe its actually very easy to please most guests .I suggest you ask a seasoned traveller type individual to independently critique each tour which will help to reshape the description v the reality/enjoyment of each tour . This will give the customer a more realistic idea of what to expect. My view is that this would increase the positive reviews and hence the “take up” . They could first hand witness the general demographic of attendees and what they are most likely to want to gain from the tour. This will help to reshape the model and increase numbers. During a long break in 4 countries in the southern hemisphere in the last 2 months, we have booked and enjoyed 7-8 Viator trips, so we know the company can do it . Best tours ever are when you can see that the guide has a real love for the subject.
