Shane is the best! - Shane is an amazing surf instructor! He was very patient, able to explain what I was doing wrong and how to fix it, and made sure I got the most waves possible in our hour. I managed to catch 23 waves! The spot we went too wasn't as crowded as other places near the hotels, so I didn't feel like I was in the way of others. They also had equipment that I could borrow like a rashguard and reef shoes. I would book with him every time I come back to Hawaii!

120/100 experience - An absolutely incredible experience—my very first time surfing, and I stood up on my first wave with the instructor's help. In just over an hour, I caught ten to twelve waves. It was perfect.

Very caring coach - My coach Darren is very skilled, patient and such a cheerleader! I had problem standing up on my surf board at the beginning, but he took time to break down each step and made me more confident about balancing myself on the board. I trusted him completely and that’s how I was able to quickly improve and was able to ride several waves in the end! The ocean is so beautiful and the view with the mountain is gorgeous. I recommend this to any adventurers and even those who never surfed before like me. It is a ton of fun and my coach and other staff are fun and very caring! I would definitely do it again when I am back to Hawaii!

Wonderful experience - Captain Neil was our instructor as was very personable, friendly and helpful. My 10 year old grandson and I took the lessons and for the first time in our lives actually got to experience surfing! Captain Neil was very encouraging and gave us tips and advice based on what he would observe us doing. He provided a life jacket for my grandson which I was very grateful for since this was only his second day experiencing the ocean and was new at swimming. But we were both super excited that we were able to experience what it was like to be riding a wave on a surfboard. One thing that I didn’t know and would recommend, is to wear a tight long sleeve shirt. I did not realize because I’ve never experienced it before how much your forearms hurt from sitting on the waxed surfboard. After two hours, they get rubbed a little raw. That’s the only thing that I would have changed if I had it to do over.

First surfing experience - Shane and Neil were amazing! They were very encouraging, fun to work with and gave me all the pointers I needed to get up on my first wave. We surfed at a location that wasn’t crazy crowded. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to give surfing a try!

Best instructors in Waikiki and the spot has tons of waves. Photos and videos are amazing!! - I’ve traveled to Waikiki plenty of times in my life and I’ve had surf lessons before but nothing compares to these guys and their killer spot. The team is super knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and very safe. I felt completely comfortable and confident throughout the whole lesson and caught so many waves and had so much fun that I signed my cousin up for a lesson a few days later. He had never surfed/skated/snowboarded before so he was starting from scratch but within 30 minutes he was not just catching waves but standing up on them and smiling ear to ear. Absolute highlight of the trip!! The photos and videos are exceptional and I will definitely be printing a few of them out to hang up back home. I highly recommend asking about that package if you want some mementos from the experience. I can’t say enough great things about these guys. Their number one priority is to make sure you have a great time, and it shows. There are tons of instructors all over the island to choose from so make it easy on yourself and go with these guys because they are the best. I will absolutely return here when I come back to Oahu.

Some of the best... - Some of the best instructors we have encountered. Shane and Neil are patient and knowledgeable. they love to surf and it shows in their instructing. I am so glad they shared their knowledge with us.

Fun in the sun - My daughter Asjha wanted to surf in Hawaii, she had surfing lesson long time ago and wanted to get back into it so I booked one. I've read the reviews in viator, and I picked this one. The communication where to meet with Shane was good but I didn't realize it was a parking lot, so I was a little confused, but people seemed to know Shane very well and helped us out. The surfing lesson went well, and we are very happy with my daughter. My husband, and I felt at ease watching them and both instructors were right there with both girls, watching and making sure they were both safe. My daughter definitely had a great time and the video and pictures taken by the instructors are much appreciated. My husband and I recommend both instructors for their professionalism and making sure their students are safe. I will definitely book again if we are back in Oahu.
