• Nu’uanu Pali - Situated at an elevation of 1,168 feet, Nuʻuanu Pali is a section of the windward cliff on Koʻolau Mountain at the head of Nuʻuanu Valley. It provides breathtaking views of Oʻahu’s windward coast. Nuʻuanu Pali was also the site of the historic Battle of Nuʻuanu, one of the most significant battles in Hawaiian history, where Kamehameha I conquered the island of Oʻahu, bringing it under his rule in 1795. It’s a 35-minute drive from here to the next destination.
• Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - Nestled in the shadow of the Koolau Range, Tropical Farms Macadamia Nuts is a popular stop on many island tours. • Mokoli’i Island - Also known as Chinaman’s Hat, this islet in Kāneʻohe Bay, Hawaii, is part of Kualoa Regional Park. Mokoliʻi translates from Hawaiian as “little lizard.” “Moko” is an ancient form of the word “moʻo” and means “lizard” or dragon-like creature; “liʻi” means “small” or “tiny.” This island is very close to the coast and is located across from Koaloa Farm. Here, we’ll capture this tiny island in your memory using trick photography. From here, it’s a 30-minute drive to the next destination.
• Kahana Bay Beach Park - Kahana Bay is a stunning cove with golden sand, surrounded by the lush greenery of the Ko’olau Mountains. Located on O’ahu’s windward coast, across from Ahupua’a State Park (Ahupuaʻa ʻO Kahana State Park), it offers a tranquil escape with calm waters, making it a perfect spot for some amazing pictures.
• Kahuku - Feeling hungry? Enjoy lunch at one of the North Shore’s renowned food trucks, featuring the most delicious shrimp recipes made from shrimp caught right there on the shrimp farms. Besides shrimp, there’s a wide variety of other foods available. The small town of Kahuku is also famous for being the birthplace of the “shaka or hang loose” greeting. It’s a 20-minute drive from here to the next destination.
• Sunset Beach - Located on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii, Sunset Beach is famous for its big-wave surfing during the winter season. It is one of the stages of the World Surfing Tour.
• Haleiwa - More than just a quaint surf town, Hale’iwa is full of local charm and a country vibe, featuring trendy surf shops and boutiques, charming art galleries, and down-to-earth restaurants housed in plantation-era buildings.
