- Waikiki Beach - The tour kicks off with complimentary pick-up from selected Waikiki hotels and meeting points. The adventure begins as friendly local drivers introduce themselves and guide you on an unforgettable road trip around the island.
- Diamond Head State Monument - The first stop is at Diamond Head Lookout. This extinct volcano is Hawaii’s most iconic landmark. Visitors will be taken to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the stunning south shore. Look for the Amelia Earhart marker, commemorating the first solo flight from Hawaii to North America in 1935.
- Halona Blowhole - Traveling along the shoreline past Hanauma Bay and Koko Head Crater, guests will witness a spectacular blowhole formed thousands of years ago from the volcanic Koko Crater. Molten lava created a lava tube, and when waves crash onto this formation, the ocean water is forced up like a geyser over 50 ft. high. From this scenic point, layers of past volcanic activity can be observed.
- Eternity Beach - Hidden below the highway from Koko Crater, this stunning “secret” beach is revealed. During low tides, visitors can see people jumping off the lower cliffs and swimming in this beautiful secluded beach, also known as Eternity Beach, made famous by the 1953 movie “From Here to Eternity”.
- Makapu’u Point - Navigating the narrow winding road from Sandy Beach and Halona Blowhole, the tour arrives at the island’s most beautiful southern tip. Along the way, spectacular cliffs drop thousands of feet to the ocean due to volcanic activity. The view is breathtaking with clear, turquoise ocean water and Rabbit Island in the background, perfect for Instagram selfies or family photos.
- Waimanalo - Leaving the southern volcanic tip of Oahu, the journey continues through the lush rainforest and Ko’olau Mountains on the windward coastline. Along the route, some of the most stunning white sand beaches can be seen, starting with Waimanalo Beach, which stretches for miles with clear, turquoise-blue Pacific Ocean water.
- Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - Nestled in a lush rainforest, this attraction is popular with locals and tourists. The Macadamia Nut Farm offers complimentary Kona coffee and free samples of their macadamia nuts. Try all the different flavors and watch for wild chickens waiting for dropped nuts. Enjoy the mesmerizing views of the Ko’olau Mountains as you leave.
- Mokoli’i Island - This beautiful island, shaped like a hat, is also known as Mokoli’i Island and sits across from the Kualoa Ranch Valley. The stunning view of the Ko’olau Mountain range at Chinaman’s Hat Beach Park is breathtaking, especially if it rains overnight, revealing waterfalls. It’s a great opportunity for unique photos with the island appearing on top of your head or in your hand.
- Kualoa Ranch - Passing by the iconic Kualoa Ranch Valley, known for filming famous movies and TV shows such as Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, King Kong, Lost, Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., and 50 First Dates.
- Fumi’s Kahuku Shrimp - Lunch Time: Located on the renowned North Shore of Kahuku, visitors can see hundreds of ponds farming jumbo shrimp. Experience and taste the best local jumbo shrimp on the island, with Scampi Garlic Butter and Spicy Garlic Butter Shrimp being particularly savory. Other food options are available if shrimp isn’t preferred.
- Kahuku - Tropical fruit stands line the road, inviting visitors to stop and explore. After lunch, enjoy refreshing ice-cold coconut, dragon fruits, mangoes, jackfruits, or other seasonal tropical fruits.
- Sunset Beach - One of the Triple Crown of Surfing North Shore professional surfing beaches, known for big wave surfing that can reach over 40 ft high during winter. It’s also the best beach to watch the sunset. This is an optional stop if parking is available and local rules permit.
- Waimea Bay - Famous for its big wave surfing tournament called “The Eddie,” which occurs only when swells reach a minimum height of 60 feet. Named after waterman lifeguard Eddie Aikau, look for the iconic 30 ft rock in the bay where people jump into the ocean after the winter swells.
- Turtle Beach - This semi-secluded beach is a natural habitat for wild green sea turtles. Many major movies and TV shows were filmed here. Visitors can watch the turtles, swim, snorkel, or relax on the sands. Green sea turtles are endangered and protected in Hawaii. Swimming or snorkeling is optional.
- Haleiwa - The tour drives through the historic town of Haleiwa, the gateway to the North Shore surfing beaches, known for its unique surf shops and laid-back atmosphere.
- Dole Plantation - Finally, enjoy fresh pineapple ice cream (Dole Whip) at the only pineapple plantation in North America. The tour passes by vast pineapple fields and visits the welcome center, where guests can explore the garden and learn about pineapple cultivation. A popular attraction and a perfect way to conclude the amazing road trip.
