Total Game Changer, Oahu Hawaii Tour from a Local! - I can never go back to group tours! - I still can’t believe I found this absolute gem of a service! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless. Before the tour even began, our driver Jimmy texted and called us to help plan the perfect itinerary. He was so warm, friendly, and thorough—right away, I could tell we were in good hands. A true local Hawaiian through and through. Jimmy picked us up from our hotel in Waikiki, and from the moment we met him, it felt like we were being shown around by family. We had nine hours booked, and Jimmy made sure to hit every single spot we wanted to visit—including the famous North Shore, Byodo-In Temple, Dole Plantation, Giovanni’s Shrimp Truck, Matsumoto Shaved Ice, Green World Coffee Farm, Kahuku Farms, and yes, even a stop at a Costco (because who doesn’t want to see what it’s like in Hawaii?). I would have taken us 3 different full day tours to see all of these locations!! We were able to do all this with one tour of the island and he somehow made everything feel unhurried, fun, and completely personalized. Jimmy went above and beyond throughout the day. He was amazing with our 4-year-old toddler, kept us laughing with his great sense of humor, helped us take tons of photos and videos, and shared so many fascinating stories about the island, culture, and his own life. Compared to the rushed and generic group tours we’ve done in the past in Oahu, this experience was in a league of its own. Doing the rental cars, self parking(so expensive!), and navigating all on our own—but with a toddler, seemed super stressful and very limiting. Booking Etohi was a total game changer and I can never go back to doing group tours in Hawaii. What really blew us away was how connected Jimmy is across the island—he knew almost everyone at all the local spots, helped us skip long lines!, and even found places completely off the beaten path. At one point, he taught our daughter how to feed birds right from her hand, and even found a guy with a friendly island chicken and asked if my daughter could pet it(she was obsessed)! He helped me pick out all the best Hawaii only snacks at Costco! He remembered I said I loved fishing back home and took us to a lookout just in time to see some locals reeling in a giant catch. He helped us make the most out of every location we stopped at. We even saw 2 rainbows at the Lookout he brought us to. These are the kinds of service, expertise, and magical moments you just don’t get on a group tour. The day flew by, and by the end, we were already calling him “Uncle” That’s how genuine and heartfelt the experience was. A day later, we received all the amazing photos and videos he’d captured—and now, they’re some of our favorite memories from the trip. I rave about this tour to our friends and family. It was the most memorable part of our Oahu Hawaii vacation, and without a doubt, so worth it. Incredible tour, even greater guide - My wife and I had an amazing time with Jimmy when we visited Oahu in April. We were able to plan our entire day, see everything we wanted to see, and he even took us to places that were a surprise. We cannot recommend this tour enough and we will definitely tell all of our friends and family to give Jimmy a call if they want a customized tour of the island.

Such an amazing tour. - This experience was so much more than I had anticipated. Jimmy was a phenomenal host. He went above and beyond to make our first trip to Hawaii an amazing one. He kept in touch with our group while helping us create our itinerary. He showed us things that weren't even on our itinerary. He was so knowledgeable of everything he showed us and made us feel so welcome. I would recommend a tour with Jimmy 1000 times over. You won't be disappointed.

Sets the bar high!!! - Jimmy was spectacular!! We had such an amazing time traversing his home island learning about so many of the things that make Oahu, Hawaii what it is.... as well as the foods/drinks. (SOOOO much food and drink, lol) If you are worried at all.... trust me.... he IS worth it!!! We gave Jimmy our must sees and he accomplished them all and a hike too, which his adult son joined us on and helped along the way. We had such an incredible day that we are hoping the rest of our time on the islands is just as great!!

Must do custom island adventure - Jimmy was awesome!! We had an absolutely incredible day on our custom island tour of Oahu with Jimmy as our guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made every moment unforgettable. From exploring hidden gems with the Waikiki lookout, UH, Pearl Harbor, Waimea Falls hike and swim, swimming with sharks in Haleiwa, and turtle bay, the entire experience was perfectly tailored to us. Jimmy's personal touch and enthusiasm truly set this tour apart. Highly recommend this adventure for anyone visiting Hawaii—it's a must-do!

AVOID THE BUS: Take an ETOHI Tour! - While determining what I was going to do with my single day of travel on Oahu, I decided that I'd take a private tour. And I am SO glad I did! Not only was I able to avoid the big tourists traps that the buses always stop at, but Jimmy was incredibly knowledgeable and had some excellent additions I wouldn't have even thought of! I was able to suggest the things I was interested in and Jimmy made it fit perfectly. I never felt rushed or like I needed to move quickly through any of our stops, which is the usual feeling when taking large-group tours. If you only have one day to explore Oahu, do yourself a favor and book an ETOHI tour!

The only tour to discover Hawaii individually ! - We did a custom tour just for us as a couple in the southeast of Oahu and were thrilled. Jimmy took us in a clean car with plenty of space and drinks as well as music as desired (Bob Marley) to all desired places. He worked our interests into the tour points through discussions. We had plenty of time at every point and Jimmy always took some pictures and videos that were made available to us after the tour. There was also a delicious lunch a bit away from the usual tourist restaurants. We would like to thank you very much for an unforgettable day with Jimmy and would like to recommend this tour without reservation !

Best Personalised Tour on Ohau - We can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Right from the get go, Jimmy was well organised with a cooler full of drinks and a friendly welcome. The tour was adapted to suit our personal needs with Jimmy offering suggestions to make the most of our day, from visiting well known attractions such as the Halona Blowhole, Polynesian Cultural Center, Dole Plantation to best best burger joint on the island- Teddy’s! We loved hearing about the history of Hawaii and Jimmy’s passion for the Hawaiian culture. The tour is well worth the cost and I would go as far to say, it is the only way to see Oahu!
