Impressive - Victor is a great tour guide. He remembered everyone's name and that was impressive. Love the food especially the substitute for pork. He is very knowledgeable and offered his suggestions of place to visit. I'm glad we chose this tour.

Great Guides and Different Foods - Victor and TJ were so knowledgeable about the food and areas. They were super friendly and just overall cool gentleman. Even with our big group they remembered everyone's names and were super attentive. Would honestly recommend for the experience alone even if you don't try all the food.

Hawaii Repeaters and First-Time Travellers Will Love It - Food is the best type of travel, but I joined this tour because I wanted to experience the food culture of the local people. I'm very happy with the result! I was able to enjoy cuisine from different countries in stores in deep markets that I would never have had the chance to visit individually. And they were all really good. (I even went to a poke restaurant that I visited again later to get a poke bowl.) As a Japanese, I had the impression that Hawaii was a country with a lot of Japanese immigrants, but it was an opportunity to change my mind.
My guides Victor and TJ were also very friendly and helpful, caring for me, who was on my own, which made the tour even more enjoyable. Thank you very much.

Excellent food tour! Victor and TJ were fantastic. - Victor and TJ took us on a sublime culinary journey across Chinatown! We had super fresh tuna including toro, Filipino adobo wings, banana lumpia, local fruits, sweet shrimp and many other amazing dishes. What sets this tour apart from the many others I have done in different cities across the globe is that it’s not scripted. We tried seafood freshly caught that day and seasonal local fruits. I would do this tour again knowing that I would be trying different foods. Also, Victor was very mindful of food allergies. I highly recommend this food tour!

Wonderful Experience! - The tour was AMAZINGLY authentic, informative, and felt intimate even with a full group. The food was super fresh and plentiful. Tour guides TJ and Victor were the icing on the Poke cake! It was a perfect day and a great experience!!!

Totally recommend. - Excellent tour! We really enjoyed it. It was nearly an all you can eat experience, you do not leave the least bit hungry. Felt very authentic. A knowledgeable and friendly staff, both Victor and TJ were fun, kind and personable. Would 10/10 recommend.

Great tour! - Wow! What a great experience! We were picked up right on time and told we were the only two people on the tour! So, needless to say, there was a lot of food!!
At our first stop TJ suggested we share and save the extra food to take home. This was a great idea and we did it at each stop.
The food was excellent and the information shared was great.
This is a wonderful way to learn about the history of Oahu’s Chinatown and enjoy some amazing food you wouldn’t normally try on your own.

Recommended for those interested in traditional local foods - This was a casual tour of small open air and inside food markets used by the established local public. Our group was the only tour group we saw during our visits. We stopped at several places and tasted meat, fresh caught tuna, other seafood and native fruits. The samples were more than generous.
Our host Victor is not a tour guide. More of a local guy showing visitors food shops they would not otherwise find and explaining historical and current stories of the foods. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
We are glad we choose this tour.
