Had a great time! - Jason was a wealth of information, & I particularly enjoyed his take on life as a Hawaiian. Our excursion was well-paced, & they fit a lot into our day. Everything was wonderful, & I definitely recommend this company!

Perfect day away from the city - This was a great event! You feel so outside of Honolulu but it’s really a short drive and not too long in the van! The hike is 1.5 miles round trip (in and out) gravelly with some incline but pretty easy if you’re fit and have good shoes. The tour provides walking sticks if you think you need some help. Lots of places to stop for snacks and drinks and restrooms during the day. Lunch is at a different spot and was tasty but the view was INCREDIBLE! A 180-degree view from Diamond Head over to Pearl Harbor. Jason was our guide and he was the best! A true local with intimate knowledge of Manoa, the local plants and animals (we saw a mongoose!) and nearby sites and restaurants. He was a great guide who clearly loves his job!

The reward of the waterfall is worth the challenge of the hike. - The reward of the waterfall is worth the challenge of the hike. Be sure to wear good shoes for the hike as there are loose rocks on the trail. Our guides Jason and Anoi were excellent and very knowledgeable. They made the tour fun. The lunch was great also.

Beautiful hike - Beautiful, peaceful hike! Love that most of it is shaded. The tour guide was very informative and had a great sense of humor. After the hike he took us to ear our lunch at Pu‘u ‘Ualaka‘a which had a beautiful panoramic view of Honolulu and Diamond Head.

Awesome Hike - We went as a family, 3 adults and 3 kids. We had an awesome experience, Jason and Tomomi did a phenomenal job of sharing new and old Hawaii. The views were amazing, the guides were super knowledgeable and accommodating, and the lunch was yummy! We would definitely book this again.

Nature lovers dream - Small is always more fun. I found the hike easy. If one is not used to walking uphill, there are benches to rest. No mud, lots of rocks. Glad they told me to bring insect repellent. The forest was extraordinary. Loved the view overlooking Honolulu. Driver very nice, with a sense of humour.

Nice hike and overlook, but you can save yourself 2-3 hours on your own - The trail was beautiful, the overlook fantastic. The sandwich for lunch was tasty. You could do this on your own, one hour to pick everyone up, a stop at the office for souvenirs, the trail is a 30-40 minute hike you can’t get lost, and you can Uber or taxi saving you 3 hours. We had planned to go to the beach in the afternoon but the tour ran over by an hour, so we missed out.
