Recommended cruise! - We didn't want to drive on the 4th of July but wanted to see fireworks and since we were tourists, we figured a boat ride would be fun. It was! We got a sunset, fireworks, food/drinks, and a cruise. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was quite good and the beverage selection plentiful and solid (quality cocktails)! The entertainment was great, too! We sat next to a very nice couple who were actually locals and they do the cruise every year so it came with a built in recommendation, and I also would do it again for a whale watching or other experience. It would probably be a great for a Friday sunset and Waikiki fireworks experience, too!

First Sunset Cruise - We participated on our honeymoon.
The weather was nice and we could see the beautiful sunset and the city of Honolulu 🌇
Captain Steven spoke Japanese very well and it was fun to talk to him! The crew were all kind and we had great memories.
It was my first time eating lobster, and the crew peeled it for me, which I was very grateful for.
The steak was also very delicious!
I would like to participate again.

The sunset was amazing! - The cruise was fun and we had lots of opportunity for moving about, taking pictures of Waikiki, Diamond Head, sunsets, city lights after dark, etc. The 4 rating was the food was pretty fancy for our liking. I expected warm lobster to dip in warm butter. The lobster was served cold with a beet salad. Not my favorite. The meal (filet, truffle mashed potatoes and matchstick veggies) and dessert (cheesecake with chocolate and berries) were super yummy though! The waiter was very attentive and amazing. Overall, a very good night!

Star of Honolulu - Fun trip. No fireworks but that was not their fault. State canceled.
Overall nice trip and entertainment was good.
Be sure to plan ahead for a ride back to hotel as no taxis when you get off ship.

Food not good everything else was awesome - Food not good! Service was excellent and the show was awesome. The transportation was canceled with out knowledge but did get a credit back. Wish there were fireworks but not their fault

Dissatisfied - Advertised as Independence Day cruise. Very disappointed that there were no decorations! At least a toothpick USA Flag on the dessert would have taken little effort. The steak was chewy, service slow, t h ey ran out of icecream, yet they knew numbers in advance and the boat was not full. The show was a disappointment. The fireworks were good but the Japanese couple next to us almost missed it as they couldn't understand the announcement in English. Could not recommend and encourage others to give it a miss.

Disappointing segregation... - Disappointing segregation of entertainment. The cocktail cruise entertainment was drastically different from the groups that had dinner. We were left bored and frustrated by the end of our trip.

CHEATED BY VIATOR AND SUN SET CRUISE IN HAWAII - 4th of July 2021 we booked dinner cruise thru Viator. 3 course dinner was promised when we book. We got ticket of Cocktail Criuise. We did not get any food except snack. Complained to Cruise Manager. He said that I booked cocktail cruise though I showed him my original booking of 30 coures dinner promised, He mentioned again the ticket said I bought cocktail cruise. If it so why we was never served any cocktail. He said we have to buy . I think Sunset Cruise company and Viator both cheated us big time. BE CAREFUL WITH VIATOR > IF YOU BUY FROM THEM YOU WILL BE SORE LOOSER LIKE US

Sucks - I was so annoyed because I was cheated by Viator and cruise compsny. I booked the cruise with 3 course dunner instead I got snack and cicktail cruise but I had to buy cocktail. I talked with Mgr Alex He said he is sorry it is Viator fault. I booked Viator and spend more than $ 100 and I have there Viatir document of dinner cruise. Viator which id pary of Trip advisor is really horrile

Buyer beware… - I have booked multiple tours on this website and on the last minute when I called about the dress code we were informed that there was no dinner nor any fireworks and the charges were the same. Spent three hours on the phone with customer care to try and resolve. Still waiting for my refund. Buyer beware… read the fine print and be careful.
