Most straightforward way to do Diamond Head - This is a quick and easy way to go hike Diamond Head without worrying about the logistics. Stephanie was fabulous! She picked us up, gave is a nice ride with commentary on what we were seeing, advised us on what we needed to do to start our hike, gave us water and sent us on our way. She picked us up on time and we had a nice ride back to our hotel. No fuss, no problem! Mahalo!

Our tour driver was... - Our tour driver was great! We suggest taking the stairs to the right at the top; it is less crowded that way. It is a little steeper, but it is not bad except in one spot. This is a faster route to the top. Then take the other stairs back down.

Short but beautiful - The hike is pretty short and even going really early is kind of crowded. I think thats expected since I went in June. I took the easier route , im a pretty good hiker and it was pretty easy. Some stairs , a little steep. The footing can be slippery as it rained some when we went … but it is beautiful, nice views just shorter than I personally expected

Diamond Head trail - The hike is midrange for difficulty more due to temperature than terrain. Lots of stairs and rough uneven trail. But the views are worth the effort. Absolutely beautiful. No more words needed.

Easy to use and a great hike - This is a good way to get there and enjoy your hike. There are a few cons but not too many. The shuttle bus is an old trolley bus so no ac or comfortable chairs. Having said that they were on time. It gets you there and they pick up exactly when they say they do. I would recommend it but try to get the earliest time you can. The hike is hot with no wind most of it so you do feel the heat

Beautiful views! - A beautiful hike with outstanding views at the top! Diamondhead is a must do when visiting Ohau! Need to be in decent shape, with the elevation and stairs as the final accent to the top. Go early morning to avoid the heat. We chose Viator for the convenience of transportation and ticket in to the state monument. Stephanie, our driver, was on time and friendly. Ask for water before you exit the van, if they forget to offer. We did the 5:30 am pick up and were back to our hotel by about 8:15. Rested a bit then went to breakfast. A great way to start our day in Waikiki.

Not Worth the Money - Better to reserve directly through Diamondhead. This was basically just a shuttle service. The guy who picked us up provided no narrative along the way and we had to remind him that we were supposed to get water.
