Highlights
  • Diamond Head State Monument - Take in the breathtaking views from Diamond Head Lookout. The distinctive silhouette of Diamond Head (Lē‘ahi) stands out near the eastern end of Waikiki’s shoreline. This iconic Hawaiian landmark is famed for its historic hiking trail, spectacular coastal vistas, and military significance. The Diamond Head State Monument spans over 475 acres, including both the inner and outer slopes of the crater.
  • Halona Blowhole - The Hālona Blowhole is a natural marvel of Hawai‘i, formed thousands of years ago by volcanic eruptions that created molten lava tubes. While O‘ahu no longer has active volcanoes, the blowhole remains a must-visit scenic spot. Hālona means “lookout” in Hawaiian, and from this vantage point, visitors can see miles of unspoiled coastline. On clear days, the distant islands of Moloka‘i and Lāna‘i are also visible.
  • New Hawaii’s Treasures - A charming shop offering souvenirs and clothing made or designed in Hawaii. Clean restrooms are available.
  • Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - Visit this spot that started as a roadside stand selling macadamia nuts, coffees, chocolates, and gift baskets. Don’t miss the special hot sauces. Clean restrooms are available.
  • Mokoli’i Island - Mokolii translates to “little lizard” in Hawaiian. Its shape resembles a peasant’s hat from rural China, hence the nickname Chinaman’s Hat.
  • Kahuku Farms - Besides offering fresh, locally grown fruit, Kahuku Land Farms is renowned for the best banana lumpia, banana bread, and macadamia nut banana bread on the North Shore, if not the entire island. This place is truly bananas!
  • Iolani Palace - Constructed in 1892 by King Kalakaua, this palace was the residence of Hawaii’s last reigning monarchs and served as the official royal home of the Kingdom of Hawaii. It is the only royal palace on U.S. soil.
  • King Kamehameha Statue - Standing 14 feet tall, the King Kamehameha statue is located in front of Aliiolani Hale and across from Iolani Palace.
  • Dole Plantation - Starting as a fruit stand in 1950, Dole Plantation became Hawaii’s “Pineapple Experience” in 1989. Be sure to try the Pineapple Dole Whip.
  • Oahu’s North Shore - Lunch is optional and will be discussed on the morning of the tour.

Don’t miss this tour if it’s your first time in Hawaii - Justin was our guide and he was beyond knowledgeable about the island, its history and culture and we appreciated having him as tour guide. The tour itself was great given his knowledge of the stops and directions and we particularly loved seeing the island on the drive, learning about the differences in the beaches on the different sides of the island, the macadamia nut and coffee stop, the temple stop where we fed birds that landed on my daughter (so memorable) and the botanical garden. The owner was really attentive to anything we needed the entire trip and even came to add a seat to the van for passenger comfort.

Worth the money and time! - Great tour for the money! Justin was our tour guide and he is a native Hawaiian which gives it a “local” feel. He is very accommodating and goes to side places sometimes which is great! We would do it again! A full 9 hours.
