First time dive for the family… - I took my son who is 12, and my nephew, it was their first time diving. Matt, our instructor, was extremely helpful and made sure they had a blast. This is a great dive for both beginners and certified divers. We saw a good amount of fish species along the reef areas and swam with sea turtles. I Highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful dive shop with helpful staff - This was my first time diving on Oahu. Waikiki Dive Centre was recommended to me by a shop in Maui. Staff were wonderful and very accommodating of a scheduling change (I had originally booked an afternoon dive but moved to the morning due to bad weather conditions). They helped fit me with a prescription mask. I dived with Micah and April who were knowledgeable and friendly. It was a wonderful experience and a highlight of my trip to Honolulu. I look forward to diving with them again next time I am on the island. Mahalo!

Fun and professional coral reef diving - Had a great time on two dive trips to some local coral reefs just off Waikiki. My wife was getting her open water cert. and I hung out with her group for support - and for a refresher since I’d been out of scuba gear for about 38 years! We saw sharks, morae eels, sea turtles, octopus, and lots of colorful fish. The crew and dive instructors were professional and very supportive. Kudos to all! We’ll be back next time on Oahu :)

Lots of turtles but too much repetition in dive sites - We were in Hawaii for vacation and booked a dive package with this company based on the reviews. I’ll start with the caveat that we’ve been fairly spoiled in regards to the incredible dive companies we’ve worked with around the world.
Unfortunately I have to say that this company really did not meet the bar for us. Of the 6 dives we did, only 3 had pre-dive briefings. Of 6 dives, we visited the same reef 3 times, despite being told that they had “multiple reef options” so as not to have repeats. Despite diving 3 days in a row, our rented equipment was never the same; we had to keep asking for specific sizes or styles - something that has never been an issue at other dive shops (where they actually make a note of who you are, when you’re diving and what your preferred equipment is so as to ensure a consistent experience). I also very much felt that they were more interested in charging for things than in actually providing a good and safe experience. And while I understand that Hawai’i is expensive, if the “number one rule” in a safety briefing is to tip your guide, that just gives insight into where their priorities are. I don’t care if it’s intended as a joke, that’s a terrible thing to say in a supposed safety briefing.
The bright spot here was Devon. He was the guide for our first ever night dive and did do a briefing onshore before heading out. He was a kind and competent guide, and made it a fun and safe experience for us. Cheers to Devon!
Overall this wasn’t an awful experience but I would not dive with them again.
