Surfing in Waikiki - We had an amazing group lesson with Shane and Captain Neil! Our entire group of 6 was able to surf almost immediately. Our guides made sure that everyone was successful. It was a beautiful experience and I hope to go back again someday!

First time surfing - Excellent experience!! - Surfing with Shane and Neil was a blast. Prior to the meetup, communication was excellent and tips were provided on how to prepare for surfing. They provided boards based on height and weight and taught us how to surf. They were a pleasure to hang out with. It was also cool to learn about the area from true locals. I highly recommend booking this.

Surfing lesson with teenagers - We landed in Oahu and headed straight to our surfing lesson. We are a family of 5 with 3 athletic teenagers ages 18, 16 and 14. After a thorough lesson in the bay we paddled out to the catch some waves. Shane and Captain Neil are phenomenal instructors. We all felt safe and confident. We all got up on our first go. This is a great activity for an active family and we highly recommend. Our teenagers loved it and the adults alike.

Highlight of Hawaii - Surfing was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii. We had private lessons with Shane and Neil, we had one instructor for each of us which was incredible. We started the lesson on the calm water learning how to stand, balance and focus. Once we got into the ocean they towed us out to ensure we had maximum energy to hit as many waves as we could. We'd swim out on our boards and be guided on which wave was best to get. The ocean was quiet at the end of the day and so we were able to hit an incredible amount without having to worry. Note we were quickly about to stand and really felt like natural surfers. We surfed as the sun was coming down into a double rainbow off the island of O'ahu and there is nothing more special than that. If you're in Hawaii and you aren't sure, just do it.

Learned to surf in one day! - Thanks to Shane, I successfully surfed for the first time ever. I wouldn’t have even dreamed of it, because I thought I couldn’t do it. He persuaded me to try and had me riding waves within 45 minutes. I want to mention I do NOT skate or snowboard, so he taught me when I had zero prior experience! I couldn’t believe it, and it was the time of my life, truly unforgettable. I highly recommend Shane for all your Oahu adventures.

Great experience! - Shane and Neil were great instructors! They helped us work our way from small waves to larger waves. They were very helpful throughout the lesson by giving us tips and feedback to help our surfing. We had an amazing time! Would definitely recommend!

Highlight of our trip to Waikiki- surf lessons with Shane@adventuresinparadiseoahu - Stop and look no further --book Shane@adventuresinparadiseoahu!! My kids and I took our first surf lessons with Shane and the experience was incredible for all of us. He gave us good directions and we were surfing in no time. Two teenagers both saying it was a highlight of their trip to O'ahu, but no matter what your age, this is for you! 😉

Best Part of the Trip - My husband and I had a wonderful time with Captain Shane during our 2 hour surf lesson. It was my first time surfing and I was able to standup on the board my very first wave. I could not have done it without Shane’s help. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend taking a lesson with Shane. We will be back for sure.

Amazing Surfing Experience - After going on an incredible full day Circle Island tour with Shane, we enjoyed our day so much that we decided to book surf lessons with Shane and Captain Neil for the whole family. Shane was incredibly knoweldgeable and attentive to everyone’s individual needs and varying ability levels. Our daughter (who has never surfed before), learned the basics with Shane’s guidance and she was riding waves in no time. She can’t wait to surf again! It was truly an incredible experiece for the whole family and we are so happy we have this wonderful memory in Waikiki! We cannot say enough about this fantastic experience!
