- Clive - Our knowledgeable guide will provide a description of the area and the river’s history.
- Tukituki River - We drive through the lush TukiTuki valley, stopping for photo opportunities along the way. See grazing animals and fertile farmland as our experienced guide highlights the best features, including orchards and vineyards.
- Te Mata Peak - We will drive to the summit of this prominent landscape feature, 399 meters above sea level. Capture photos from the top of this steep landmark as our guide points out the landscape features visible from this panoramic viewpoint above Hawke’s Bay.
- Arataki Honey Visitor Centre - Our guide will lead you through a tasting experience and show you live bees in their hives, which have a window allowing visitors to see the bees working up close. This is also a great opportunity to purchase local products and honey.
- Telegraph Hill Olivery - We take you to this boutique olivary to taste their fine products, with the option to purchase them if you wish, or even hug an olive tree.
- Te Mata Figs - Visit this wonderful figgery and café to taste their fig products. You can also purchase coffee, ice cream, or a snack from their café to enjoy during the rest of the tour.
- Oak Road - We will visit the historic Oak Avenue, planted in 1874 by J.D. Ormond as a driveway to his house. We’ll stop for photo opportunities as our guide explains the significance of this historic road.
- Oak Road - After leaving Oak Road, we will stop to look back at Te Mata Peak and glimpse the giant lying down on the mountain. Our guide will recount the legend of Te Mata Peak.
- Napier - We drive through the Art Deco capital of the world as our guide discusses the earthquake that created this unique area and its architecture.
- Napier Art Deco Buildings - We will travel through the Art Deco city of Napier and describe how it became the Art Deco capital of the world.

Additional Information
We will take you on a tour with fun and laughter whilst showing you a large area of our region. we cover over 100 km in our minivan to show you the highlights of the region. This tour can be done in 3 hours but also can take a little longer depending on the time the traveler has. We provide a driver guide and they give a comprehensive dialogue along the way. This tour can be made into a private tour with a little extra fee added. With the sightseeing done first and tasting experiences after, this tour provides ampul opportunities for photos and purchasing of local products during our stops.

Entertaining, Accommodating and flexible. - John was the operator and took good care of us. He provided insight to the history and culture. He customized our tour since our ship came in at a different time. Very accommodating. Views were spectacular. Honey tour was cut short but worth a stop. Highly recommend.

Wonderful tour - Wonderful tour. John gave us an overview of the area. The tour gave us a good view of Napier. There was only 10 of us so it make it more personal. We stopped for wine tasting and snacks at the right time. The honey store and information was very interesting!

Great Tour! - Our driver and guide, John, was fantastic. We enjoyed his narration, and appreciated his safe driving. We covered a lot of ground, and it was nice to be in a small group, as opposed to a large coach.

Wine and Honey - Excellent tour operator named John. He’s informative, real, and comical. Loved the honey and wine tasting both. Learned a lot. Ended up with a good understanding of the local culture. If sitting in the very back of the van, very difficult to see much.
