Set your own pace with this informative self-guided tour. - Fantastic information with very clear instructions. The locational technology works so well! Loved the ability to pause the tour while I explored specific locations in more detail; specifically, the National Museum. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and recommend it as excellent value 👍.

Once download problems solved, great tour. - This was our first use of the app, walkntours, and one mistake was not downloading the complete tour prior to leaving the ship. We had to find internet in nuuk to downtown it. The second mistake was to sign off when a note stated you can come back to the tour anytime during that day but did not state with internet service, and again we had to find internet service. Once the tour was downloaded, both the narrative and maps were great and very informative. The tour offered the information via email, which I selected, but to date have not received it. These problems is why I only gave it a "4".

Be sure to read the instructions for the app needed to do this tour. - It’s very important to read all the way down to find the actual instructions to use the walking tour. We went to the meeting place expecting to ask at the reference desk about the tour, as that was given as meeting point. That building was closed, so we waited an hour. They said, we don’t know about this, so I re-read the write up and way down at the bottom, past the maps and other items, there was a single line that said instructions. The walk needed to have an app installed on the phone. We then ran out of time and had to get back to our cruise ship. Our assumption is the walk is great, we just couldn’t fit it in once we lost all that time waiting around.

App didn’t work - We only had a few hours to visit Nuuk, so I thought this self guided walking tour would give a good overview. I followed all the instructions for downloading the walking tour app, identified the tour and put in the code. I went to the starting point for the tour and started the app. Unfortunately, I could not start this tour, because of this message: “Your tour intro is downloading. Once it’s finished you can start experience”. Three hours later, the tour intro still had not downloaded, so I could never start this tour.
