Nice tour, great guide who hopefully takes my suggestions. - My husband and I did this tour yesterday with Sophia who was very knowledge and a delight. We enjoyed the tour very much.. but there are many suggestions to improve this tour: Have the meeting point inside the warm Nuuk Center in front of the coffee/expresso shop. That way everyone has a an exact meeting place inside a warm building. Tell people to dress very warmly. Stop inside the church on the tour if able to get warm and see inside, spend less time at the "hunter's market". Stop inside the entrance ways to the National Museum and the Local Nuuk museums, that way people can get warm and know where both museums are to come back later. Have your little tasting inside the small shop and not eat outside in the cold. For some reasons I thought we were going to go inside a place to eat at a local restaurant which was not the case. Sophia brings a small tupperware container with whale, fried cod, and other things to eat with a toothpick. We were her 6th tour she did and I think this can really be a great tour someday. I did want to give her 5 stars, since I know she will take my comments to heart and improve this tour for others. Thanks Sophie and good luck!

Nuuk Food Tour - Fascinating and informative. Our guide , Sophie, was informative and articulate about the history and culture of the Inuit and Nuuk life in general. At the end we sampled some of the items we had heard about. Tried whale skin, blubber, halibut, musk ox, shrimp, out doors at a table over looking the most beautiful fjord as ice bergs and growlers drifted by. Would highly recommend and we will do it again on our return to Nuuk.

Excellent Cultural Presentation - Sophie was a wonderful bridge between the Greenlander food and culture and us, the visitors. She explained much about the various waves of settlers in Greenland and the Inuit culture. A little history, a little present politics, a little else on actual foods and eating habits/diets in various regions of Greenland. Very informative and friendly. I recommend it to anyone wishing to learn some more about Greenland and its inhabitants.

A nice introduction to the culinary scene of Greenland - The tour takes you to some of the main attractions in downtown Nuuk. We were introduced to how inuit culture and food are closely linked and the guide Ann Sophie is a great storyteller. I would highly recommend anyone to do this tour while in Nuuk.

Local food combined with tour of new and old - Tasting and hearing about the local food was a unique experience. It was combined with a great guided tour in both the newer and historical settings of Nuuk. Still, the tour had just the perfect length. The guide, Ann Sophie was nice and welcoming.
