Do it! - By far the best way to spend a day at PV! This day combines so many other excursions that we were looking at. Got to do a cooking class, zip line, see wildlife/sea lions, snorkel, hang out at the adults only beach, and enjoy food/drinks. The staff was so fun and made the boat ride there and back fly by. Highly recommend!!

What a fun day! - What a fun day! There’s so many activities for the family. We took our kids and grandkids for the day. Swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, water slide, floating docks with hammocks are just a few things. So much you can’t do it all! Food pretty good as well. Beverages for all. Staff was friendly and helpful. The boat ride to and from the beach was a lot of fun. Great entertainment on the way back! A great day!

Las Caletas - Loved this day trip. The whole trip from start to finish was about 9 hours. Our kids loved it. Such a mix of activities on the island and the food was great! Open bar on the boat ride, which took about 90 minutes to get to Las Caletas from the Nayarit dock. Lots of fun and entertainment on the ride over. The water was beautiful to snorkel. Calm with a wonderful mix of wildlife on the reef. Kids had tons to do as well between paddle boarding and kayaking. Open bar on the island. Would definitely recommend.

Family cruise Excursions - Me and my family took the excursion from the cruise and we loved the experience we had. On the boat ride to the island the extra amenities offered didn’t feel forced. The crew was very understanding and kind about yes or no answers. I decide to get the scuba diving add on, and the instructor Nicolas (Nico) was so kind and friendly. He also made sure we were comprable and safe at all times and was a great listener. The photo packages was a great value for a lot of content more then expected for the minimum I believe. For the price would high let recommend the add on for a crash course and taste of scuba diver experience with the huge price tag or guilt of not being able to commit to going under as it’s just enhances snorkeling. They included everyone and the pics are gorgeous.

Slice of paradise - The crew especially Chai was amazing, we had a blast, the beach and impeccable crystal clear waters are amazing. My daughter and I did a massage and wished we’d booked a whole hour. But definitely hands down the best part of this excursion. The cooking class was fun and tasty, unlimited margaritas and daiquiris. I’m giving 4 out of 5 because the buffet food for a 6 hour excursion was incredibly disappointing and bland especially being that we were in Mexico. Thank goodness we did the cooking class and enjoyed super flavorful food there otherwise my daughter & I would have starved. Definitely recommend, if you’re coming all the way to Puerto Vallarta definitely get away and enjoy this slice of paradise!

Chill day - Sea lion and stingray encounter were fantastic, but they cost extra. Other animal encounters with birds and money were fine. Food and service was great. Snorkeling was just ok. Did not feel crowded at all. Overall a great experience.

Overall a good experience, BUT … - Overall a great experience. However, the time goes by too fast and you do not get to do more than 1 thing. Get there around 10 and leave around 2. By the time you eat, get in a little beach, and 1 activity it’s time to go. Be VERY strategic in your plans on island. Also, the cooking class was way too crowded and they had ALL participants to make community dishes with no gloves or having ppl to sanitize hands first. I wouldn’t eat what others prepared because we watch the uncleanliness of prepping. Ugh. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing but others didn’t seem to mind. Also, island is NOT for restricted mobility or elderly. Rough terrain, hills, one access to walk a distance to bathroom.

False advertising - I was shown 30% discount on all tours booked 3 days in advance. I sent the link to my partner to book it, and he was only given 15% discount. And all of their bookings incur a 10% cancelation charge. What kind of dark magic is this???

Unsafe practices - While with the medic after tripping in a hole and skinning a knee, the boat left us behind even though the medic said the boat was waiting. We then got placed in a small wooden boat and raced across the ocean to catch up to the main boat. This was quite the experiences as we flew so high off our wooden seats from the waves and speed of the boat, that we had bruised rear ends and sore backs the next day. When we caught the main boat, out in the ocean with serious waves happening, they had us unsafely transition from the little boat onto the big boat. This entire situation could have been avoided if the big boat would have waited 90 seconds for us to arrive and board before leaving. Vallarta Adventures does not care that this happened and has not returned any communications about or experience.
