MY DREAM, the Everest Base Camp - When I decided to went in Nepal for maked the Everest Base Camp trekking I had just booked the hotel in Kathmandu. I just arrived in the capital and immediately I talked with the hotel owner that he offer me a 16 days trekking pack with nepali guide with Mountmania. I accepted and 2 days later me and Binod started the experience. We went to the airport for catched a plane with 18 seats, head to Lukla, the most dangerous airport in the world. Right away i felt very well with the guide, he was very alert my pace, about my breath and about my physical condition at the end of the day. For me start a trekking at 2860 mt was a new thing and he knew it. We walked from 6 to 8 hours per day, respecting the right relax days for acclimatize the bodyto the altitude. You can sleep in the “lodge”, typical nepali house for travellers. For everyone is the same, there aren’t a 5 stars hotels. During the night is very cold, i reccoment to buy a very good sleeping bag. The unique heat source is in the main room and they use the yak dry sheet to burn inside the stove because the wood is so difficult to carry at the high altitudes. The trekking pack was composed by the bedroom in the lodge and meals (1 main and 1 course each). The EBC Trek consist of 67 km pathway inside a beutiful valleys, glaciers between the higher mountain of the world. From the Base Camp, the Everest view is very tiny but i reccomend you the Khala Patter escursion at 5550mt for have a special view of the highest mountain of the world. We planned also the Gokio Ri lake escursion for have another panorama of the Everest, but I had some physical problem and I desisted. For me the Everest Bae Camp was a dream made possible by my diligence and physical training but also by the lot of advices of my guide Binod. When we came back to Kathmandu, Binod accompained me to the hotel. Outside the guide/customer relationship, me and Binod went together to visit the Ancien District of Bakhtapur, world heritage site UNESCO. I can say that i find a friend for walk in the hymalaian mountain. THANKS BINOD

Wonderful experience - Me and my friends did EBC last October with Rupak and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Rupak treated us like family and by the end of the adventure we went from being clients to being friends. I can highly recommend him and his company, he and his team were always there when we needed. Overall it was an excellent experience, excellent customer service, and it was amazing to see the Everest from so close !!!

Amazing experiencia with Mount Mania - I am so happy I found Mount Mania a local traveling company from Nepal. Rupack the owner was so amazing, friendly, helpful and at times would fo out of his way to make us feel comfortable like the he invited us into his home for Bada Dashian festival. We did the 12 day Everest basecamp trek. Our guide was on point, very knowledge and helpful. He got is the best Tea houses along the way and was always there for us for any concerns. At first we were clients, but by the end of our trip we became friends with Rupack, our guide Lakpa and our porter Milan. We will forever cherish the all the memories from the moment we received a warm welcome from Rupack, to our trekking time with Lakpa and Milan, and to our last days in Nepal. I highly recommend this company if you are looking for a great experience at a great price. I wish i could give them more than 5 stars. Please support local companies like this one. Good luck and enjoy your trip in Nepal!

Magical Mountain Memories!! - My trekking journey in Nepal, with the two most wonderfully kind supportive and inspirational guides you could ask for (Binod & Ballaram), was a truly magical experience which I will never forget. This Everest Base Camp trek was the most challenging yet rewarding trip I have ever done. I am looking forward to coming back again and trying a different scenic tour of this stunning country. I highly recommend using this company and their genuine wisdom for any of the magnificent treks they offer.
