Thank you for the fun cooking experience! - I booked this class for my husband, 3 adult children, and me. We didn’t know what to expect but it was so worth it. Keven and Micheal coached us through the prep work chopping veggies, shredding chicken, making empanada dough, and even some of the cooking over the wood stove. We were introduced to ingredients and recipes of Costa Rica, which were all delicious.

Cooking Class - Kevin and Michael were great. So friendly and informative. It was so fun -we can’t wait to try these recipes when we get back home.

Deliciosa Familia Almuerzo (Delicious Family Lunch) - Kevin and Michael were the best. They made us feel like family and the food and education was 5 star. We got extra lucky with a private class. Come hungry because the food is delicious! We will come back when we are fortunate enough to visit Nosara again. PURA VIDA!!

Amazing cooking class! - We had such a great time with our guides! We ate until we couldn't anymore and learned how to make traditional Costa Rican food. Money and time well spent! My husband and I highly recommend the tour.

Unbelievably yummy & fun!! - I do cooking classes everywhere I go around the world & this was by far the best one I've ever done. Kevin & Michael were very fun & showed us dishes I've never had before. The ingredients were fresh & everything cooked on a wood fire. Defined put this tour on your list of fun things to do.

It was wonderful. Also,... - It was wonderful. Also, it is a good experience for anyone to learn about Costa Rican foods. Kevin gave clear instructions, and he was very helpful. I highly recommend.

Best Cooking Class! - My boyfriend and I took this amazing cooking class and it was a highlight of our entire trip! Michael and Kevin were so fun to work with and really made the entire process so much fun. The food we cooked was delicious and so was the pineapple juice we got to enjoy with our meal. Not only did we enjoy the meal but we also loved learning how to make authentic empanadas! If you are visiting Nosara this is a class I 100% recommend taking :)

Be ready for a great cooking experience! - Michael, the chef, and Kevin, the interpreter and assistant, were both extraordinary. We were on a farm and met some of the animals including Maria, the rooster who truly ruled the roost. We participated in the cooking and made the most amazing dishes. To add to the experience as the meal was being prepared, we enjoyed fried plantain chips with a mayonnaise salsa (it was wonderful. Trust me.) and coconut milk to drink. The main dishes were unique, scrumptious, and Costa Rican. The experience was just plain fun.

Cooking class, repelling, water safari - From the moment we arrived at the farm for the cooking class, it felt like we were being welcomed into a family home. Kevin and Michael were such wonderful hosts—I can’t recommend them highly enough! The class was not only so much fun, but also an incredible way to learn about Costa Rican food and culture. And the meal itself? Absolutely delicious! It was truly one of the highlights of our trip. We loved our time with Kevin and Michael so much that we booked another adventure with them the very next day—a water safari and rappelling tour—which turned out to be just as amazing. We left with unforgettable memories and, even better, two new friends!

Wonderful experience for the entire family! - wow! What an incredible family experience this was with our 80 year old family members! We loved every minute. Kevin was a wonderful host - he explained each step, showed us how to prepare it all (put all 6 of us to work chopping!), and talked about his own mother teaching him. The fun was made even greater because of the local menagerie of animals - farm cats, a dog, a goat, a rooster, and 3 pigs along with 7 three-day old piglets Nothing was wasted - all of the scraps went straight to the pigs. And the food! It was delicious - empanadas, salsa, yucca chips, plantain chips, patacones - yum! We absolutely recommend this for families of all ages. We had so much fun eating we forgot to take pictures of our meal!
