- Skipton Boat Trips - The building that now houses our ticket office is one of the oldest canal related buildings in the area, dating to 1774 and is grade II listed. It was originally a warehouse for goods being transported on the canal, hence the large cranes outside- one facing the canal, the other facing our cobbled car park, formerly stables…
- Skipton Boat Trips - The building that now houses our ticket office is one of the oldest canal related buildings in the area, dating to 1774 and is grade II listed. It was originally a warehouse for goods being transported on the canal, hence the large cranes outside- one facing the canal, the other facing our cobbled car park, formerly stables for horses towing the craft. Somewhere near the site of the wharf, although the exact location is now lost, was Winterwell Hall, a medieval manor whose remains were lost during the building of the canal basin.

Superb! - Treated my wife for the afternoon tea. Superb service and delicious snacks. Quirky idea for afternoon tea with a twist. Will be returning in the near future

A pleasant cruise on the canal in Skipton - A lovely cruise where we were well looked after by attentive staff. We enjoyed a marvellous afternoon tea and a glass of Prosecco. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Skipton.

Great day out in beautiful Skipton. - Thoroughly enjoyed this cruise, lovely afternoon tea with great sevice. Spectacular views and great weather added to our enjoyment. Nearby parking as well with a chance to wander round the lovely town of Skipton afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Boat, canal trip and afternoon tea was lovely! - It was a lovely time on the canal and the teas was wonderful. It was raining but that didn’t matter as we enjoyed every minute of it! Have recommended you to a few people already. Kindest regards, jan

Extremely enjoyable afternoon delight. - So relaxing on The Canal Boat,
Food was delicious and the staff were all lovely. Boat was very comfortable and I loved the fact that every table had fresh flowers on it.

Relaxing tea cruise. - Had a great afternoon tea cruise with 8 friends on Sat 30th Nov to round off a day in Skipton. The food was very nice both the sweet and savory plates with plenty to eat. The crew very very efficient and pleasant and on board drinks were reasonably priced would definitely recommend.

Great afternoon - Lovely trip on a quiet and pretty canal. Great to just pass the time and enjoy the scenery. Tea was a bit thin. Not the huge Yorkshire teas we are used to. However it was a good price so cannot really complain. Would certainly return.
