Unforgettable 5-Star Journey Through Skye! - My partner and I booked this private 3-day tour to the Isle of Skye as part of a romantic trip through Scotland — and it turned out to be the absolute highlight of our holiday. From the moment our guide picked us up in Edinburgh in the sleek, luxury Mercedes minivan, we knew we were in for something special. The vehicle was pristine, quiet, and incredibly comfortable — perfect for long scenic drives, with huge windows that let us soak in every view (and snap more than a few photos!). What really made the trip exceptional was our guide, Stewart. He had the perfect balance of professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of Scottish history and folklore. He made the landscapes come alive with stories — from tragic Highland battles in Glencoe to the myths behind the Fairy Pools and the Old Man of Storr. We loved how flexible and personal the experience was. Whether we wanted to stop for a quick coffee, take extra photos, or spend more time at a scenic spot, it was never a problem. One of our favorite moments was a spontaneous stop at a peaceful loch where we shared a quiet moment completely alone with nature. It felt like a scene from a movie. Skye itself is breathtaking — even more than we imagined. Our second day on the island felt like a dream: Portree was charming, the views from the Quiraing were otherworldly, and the Fairy Glen was straight out of a fantasy novel. The weather even cooperated just enough to give us moody skies and golden light — perfect for cozy walks and dramatic photos. Our guide recommended a lovely seafood restaurant in Portree where we had one of the best meals of our trip, complete with fresh langoustines and local whisky. It was clear he tailored each stop with care and thoughtfulness. The pace of the tour was ideal for us — adventurous, but never rushed. We came away feeling deeply connected to the places we visited, and more than a little in love with the Highlands. If you’re a couple looking for a mix of luxury, nature, history, and a bit of magic — don’t hesitate to book this tour. It was everything we hoped for and more.

I highly recommend Hopscotch Travel! - We always wanted to visit Scotland but were slightly nervous about making arrangements. It was at this point I came across Hopscotch Travel and Hamish who worked diligently to arrange all aspects of our tour once we arrived in Edinburgh. Stewart was our guide and he was simply amazing. His knowledge of Scotland was amazing.
