Senaru - Arrival Day: Day 1
Meet the trekking guide who will offer valuable advice to help prepare for the adventure.
The Rinjani trek begins at the Rinjani Trek Center in Senaru around 08:00. The journey starts with a walk through a lush tropical forest, abundant with flora, birdlife, and various butterflies. A break will be taken at Post 2 Montong SATAS shelter (1,500 m) for tea and biscuits. After the break, the trek continues for 2 hours to Pos 3 Mondokan Lolak (2,000 m) for a rest and lunch.
After lunch, the group will promptly depart from Pos 3 and ascend to the Senaru crater rim (2,641 m) over the course of 2 hours. The Senaru crater offers the most breathtaking view after the peak. Enjoy a stunning sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano at the lake’s edge, and camp here for the night.
Day 2:
Following breakfast with a magnificent sunrise, the descent from Mount Rinjani to Senaru village through the rainforest begins. The descent takes 5 hours, with lunch along the way. Arrival at Senaru village (601 m) marks the end of the service.

Unbelievable scenery, incredible company and Guides. The BEST trekking experience in Bali - Our Trek was Amazing!! The mountain- and hike was unbelievable, scenery that seemed like it was from the movies! Endless Beauty. Our hike and experience was made so much more incredible by the help and planning of the Sayam Trekker team. Our guide ( Ramin) and Porters ( Dan and Andy) went above and beyond packing and guiding our journey on the trail, they are also great chefs!! We had the best time! Highly recommend trekking with Sayam Trekkers!!

Amazing trek! Would love to book with Syam again! - This hike with Syam trekking was such an amazing experience! Everything was organized very well! The guide really helped us and told us some interesting facts:) Sleeping in the tent was comfortable thanks to the soft matrass & warm sleeping bags. On top of this, the food was excellent! Thank you so much!

Unforgettable experience with best guide + porters - We did the 2 day 1 night Rinjani hike, accompanied by Yon, Mami and Aldi. The trek was tough but the views and experience were completely worth it. And our guide and porters took such good care of us both. The food, drinks, tent accommodation and most of all the company were all outstanding. Thanks so much

Syam trekker is by far the best Rinjani trek guiding company! - The entire service was incredible from start to finish! Communications went very smoothly, we were picked up at the airport and driven to Senaru where we met Syam, who is super friendly and gave us a briefing. A nice hotel was arranged for us and the next day they picked us up for the trek. Our guide, Ari, and our porters were amazing, so much fun and they made us feel at ease. We could decide our own pace the entire time and had lovely conversations. Also, the food they cooked was so good and varied (we got pasta, burgers, chicken curry, veggies etc). I already did the mount rinjani trek six years ago with another company, and I wish I had known about Syam trekking earlier because they are by far the best guiding company! I'd recommend it to everyone :)

Summit Rinjani 2n/3d : Rinjani tractor recommended! - We did in September 24 the 3 days 2 nights trip with Syam tractor to the top of Rinjani.
The organization is definitely recommended. We received delicious and sufficient food and drinks and decent sleeping material (which is not the case with all tours). This makes it worth its extra cost.
The small groups and the patient Guide Ramin ensured that you could reach the summit at your own pace.

Best trekking company for Rinjani - Would recommend Syam and his full team 100%. We had an amazing experience doing the 2d1n trek at Rinjani. It was very challenging but satisfying. The guides and porters make sure you have enough (really yummy) food and drinks and prepare everything to make the trip as easy as possible! Special thanks to Dean (Rinjani_tourguide) for everything 🙏

Trekking on the Rinjani - Great experience, Syam, the Guide and porters with little care. Climbing difficult but we are well rewarded with a magnificent view! A special mention to porters who cook really well!

Syam hike is highly recommended! - We did the rinjani hike tour , with the guidance of 2 porters and 1 fantastic Guide named Rahim . We are both in our late 50s and he has led us upstairs with a mutual respect. Syam hike tour provides everything you need for the road! It's not easy but it's a big reward when you get to the top! Highly recommended!

Don’t hesitate, just book it! :) - Truly amazing experience!! My dad and I just came back from Lombok where we did a 2D/1N trek on Mt. Rinjani. We booked the trip through Syam trekker and wouldn’t want it any other way! Everything was very well organised, starting from a pick up anywhere in Lombok to a drop-off at your desired destination (included in the price). The day before the trek, Syam briefed us about the adventure and in the evening his wife prepared a delicious traditional dinner.
The next day, our guide Dhin and his two brothers picked us up. Together we started the climb on Mt. Rinjani. Dhin and his brothers made this experience unforgettable for us! They were really helpful, supporting and took great care of us by carrying our stuff and preparing delicious food during the trek! Even though the trek was challenging, we enjoyed it due to the great organisation and company! Even after we came back from Rinjani, Dhin and his brothers spent time with us and took us to local events in their free time. If we would come back (which we would love to do), we would like to be accompanied by the same amazing guide and porters!
In other words, I would strongly (!!!) recommend booking a trip through Syam trekker to climb Mt. Rinjani if you want to make great memories and don’t want to worry about any practical stuff, because everything is taken care of by Syam! Definitely a 10/10!
