Syam trekker is by far the best Rinjani trek guiding company! - The entire service was incredible from start to finish! Communications went very smoothly, we were picked up at the airport and driven to Senaru where we met Syam, who is super friendly and gave us a briefing. A nice hotel was arranged for us and the next day they picked us up for the trek. Our guide, Ari, and our porters were amazing, so much fun and they made us feel at ease. We could decide our own pace the entire time and had lovely conversations. Also, the food they cooked was so good and varied (we got pasta, burgers, chicken curry, veggies etc). I already did the mount rinjani trek six years ago with another company, and I wish I had known about Syam trekking earlier because they are by far the best guiding company! I'd recommend it to everyone :)

Summit Rinjani 2n/3d : Rinjani tractor recommended! - We did in September 24 the 3 days 2 nights trip with Syam tractor to the top of Rinjani. The organization is definitely recommended. We received delicious and sufficient food and drinks and decent sleeping material (which is not the case with all tours). This makes it worth its extra cost. The small groups and the patient Guide Ramin ensured that you could reach the summit at your own pace.

Syam hike is highly recommended! - We did the rinjani hike tour , with the guidance of 2 porters and 1 fantastic Guide named Rahim . We are both in our late 50s and he has led us upstairs with a mutual respect. Syam hike tour provides everything you need for the road! It's not easy but it's a big reward when you get to the top! Don’t hesitate, just book it! :) - Truly amazing experience!! My dad and I just came back from Lombok where we did a 2D/1N trek on Mt. Rinjani. We booked the trip through Syam trekker and wouldn’t want it any other way! Everything was very well organised, starting from a pick up anywhere in Lombok to a drop-off at your desired destination (included in the price). The day before the trek, Syam briefed us about the adventure and in the evening his wife prepared a delicious traditional dinner. The next day, our guide Dhin and his two brothers picked us up. Together we started the climb on Mt. Rinjani. Dhin and his brothers made this experience unforgettable for us! They were really helpful, supporting and took great care of us by carrying our stuff and preparing delicious food during the trek! Even though the trek was challenging, we enjoyed it due to the great organisation and company! Even after we came back from Rinjani, Dhin and his brothers spent time with us and took us to local events in their free time. If we would come back (which we would love to do), we would like to be accompanied by the same amazing guide and porters! In other words, I would strongly (!!!) recommend booking a trip through Syam trekker to climb Mt. Rinjani if you want to make great memories and don’t want to worry about any practical stuff, because everything is taken care of by Syam! Definitely a 10/10!

Great guide, great experience - Great experience, great guide! You get transportation from anywhere in Lombok and even transportation back to Gili Trawangan, including the boat! The food is abundant and good. All materials can be povided if you´re missing something. The porter even lended me his own jacket for the climb because my coat was soaked. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic experience! - We climbed the Rinjani volcano with a guide in 3 days/2 nights via Syam Trekker. I can only say that everything was well organized down to the last detail and that thanks to Syam and his team we were able to do a very nice 3-day trek, and I absolutely recommend everyone to book the trek with Syam. We arrived in Bangsal from Nusa Penida by boat, where our taxi driver was ready to take us to Senaru. This was included in the cost of the trek. We were quite hungry, so our driver happily made a 30-minute stopover so that we could eat a plate of nasi goreng at a local warung. We were taken to Syam's house where we were given the detailed briefing of the trek so we knew what to expect. We were then taken to our hotel nearby and picked up again in the evening to enjoy a delicious Indonesian meal at Syam's home that Syam's wife had prepared. Really delicious. The next morning we were picked up at 6:45 and taken to the starting point of the trek. We met our guide Awing and the 2 porters. We had 3 super nice days thanks to these men. Awing was a very nice guide with a lot of knowledge of the area. He already had 25 years of experience. Together with the porters he provided delicious food along the way. You will receive an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, freshly prepared on site. On the 3rd day you will be picked up at the end point and you can freshen up at Syam's home, which was very nice. What is also included is transportation from Syam's home to your next destination on Lombok, no matter where you need to go. For example, our next destination was Kuta, in the south of the island. This was a 3-hour drive and was already included in the package. In short, we are very happy that we booked our trek with Syam Trekker and recommend it to everyone!
