Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls are situated in the northern side of Lombok Island. It is located in Senaru village, which is about two and half drive from Mataram. Both waterfalls can be reached within 15 minutes walking from each other.
Sendang Gile is named after the folklore in Senaru, which was taken from a story of a prince who hid behind the waterfall. While, Tiu Kelep is taken from the local Sasak language, Tiu means a pool and Kelep means flying.
These two waterfalls can be your best destinations to enjoy a freshening spring water from Mount Rinjani and also the greenery forests surround them. You can enjoy a soft trekking to get to both waterfalls.
