- Claude Batten Drive - Our rendezvous point is the trailer located in the parking area at Beach Access No 11 on Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Heads. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your lesson. We equip you with a long-sleeved rash/sun shirt (or a wetsuit during the colder months) and provide you with an appropriately sized soft surfboard for beginners. Following that, we proceed to the shoreline where we commence with a briefing on safety and some fundamental surfing techniques. After catching a few initial waves in shallow water, we return to the shore for a more comprehensive lesson on standing up on the board. The remainder of the session is spent in the ocean, with the instructor aiding each participant in successfully standing up on their surfboard.

Turn left into Hastings Street and continue towards the river mouth. When you get to the last shops you still have another 600 meters to go. Continue through the Noosa Woods until you find the Go Ride A Wave trailer at Beach Access No 11.

Amazing Surflesson with Valentin - Amazing Surflesson with Valentin!!!
We had an amazing private lesson with Valentin. we are both beginners and for my friend was it even the first time on a board. Valentin did a really really good job and we had a super fun time. My friend was really afraid before and did enjoy it very much due to his way of teaching! We can recommend him 100% and would definitely come back! thanks for an amazing experience!

Valentin is the best instructor - We had a great 2hrs lesson with Valentin. His way of teaching the foundation skills for beginners are awesome. We have done a few lessons at various places in Gold Coast or other areas in Sunshine Coast, but Valetin is by far the best instructor. Very clear in his instructions and easy to follow and his tips works! Can’t recommend him enough. Look for Valentin at Go Tide a Wave if you are learning surfing in Noosa! Thank you Valentin!

Go Ride A Wave Noosa - After spending some time on the East Coast and seeing the locals surf daily, we thought we'd give it a go! Had the 8am session booked and got lucky as it was only the 2 of us - so practically a private session with Matt. Great time out in the water. Some rain and some big swells. But Matt stuck with us and had us both standing up. Thanks Matt for a great session and for a fun morning. Great instructor at the Noosa team.

Family surf lesson - Highly recommended!
Very friendly and helpful team, happy to accomodate our requests and needs.
We had a private surf lesson for the whole family with George, who made everything run so smoothly and really gave us a great experience. Our little girls literally had the best time with him and it was absolute fun for all of us. Exactly what we needed - thank you!!

Great fun for kids and lovely surf coaches. - OMG my daughter had a great time. Lovely professional. My daughter got to be playful - like walking around on the board - even a handstand! Such fun. Looking forward to the next two days of the same 🏄🏼♀️

Great family fun in the surf - Valentine was great with our 4 children. Despite very hot conditions and very messy surf he made our beginners feel comfortable and they all had a great time. We will definitely be booking more lessons - thanks!

Our teenage girls had lessons today, they thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely recommend - Great experience for beginners, waves weren’t too big, definitely worth a try. The young men were great teachers, definitely helped the girls feel more confident with the surf board

Awesome - HIGLY RECOMMENDED! The instructor was really nice, clear, patient and caring. He explained every aspect of the techniques very carefully and he truly looked at what you did and gave you feedbacks for each wave surfed.

Good - Great time, but it was a bit confusing, and not much one to one teaching. We were a pretty big group, and it would have been nice if we had been divided into smaller groups by experience, and had each our guide to give us feedback after every ride.
