- Claude Batten Drive - Our rendezvous point is the trailer located in the parking area at Beach Access No 11 on Claude Batten Drive at Noosa Heads. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your lesson. We equip you with a long-sleeved rash/sun shirt (or a wetsuit during the colder months) and provide you with an appropriately sized soft surfboard for beginners. Following that, we proceed to the shoreline where we commence with a briefing on safety and some fundamental surfing techniques. After catching a few initial waves in shallow water, we return to the shore for a more comprehensive lesson on standing up on the board. The remainder of the session is spent in the ocean, with the instructor aiding each participant in successfully standing up on their surfboard.

Turn left into Hastings Street and continue towards the river mouth. When you get to the last shops you still have another 600 meters to go. Continue through the Noosa Woods until you find the Go Ride A Wave trailer at Beach Access No 11.

A must DO in Noosa - Thank you Reece (from Taiwan) and James (from NZ) for a very informative and fun surfing lesson this morning. Myself ( a 55 year old Mum) and my daughter throughly enjoyed ourselves and we were both standing up by the end of the lesson. Thanks to your patience, light hearted humour and precise instructions on how to improve. I would highly recommend everyone to give it a go!

Amazing introduction to surfing for beginners - Me and my friend had so much fun during our beginner surf lesson at Noosa! The weather was great, waves were also really nice (could’ve been a biiiiit more of them or bigger but was still very good for beginners). Valentino was such a good instructor ensuring we all felt safe and were helped one-by-one during the lesson. Would definitely recommend! And make sure to bring some friends to take pictures for you as you will be able to stand (at least for a second)

Fun, safe and professional surfing experience - I recently took surfing lessons, and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the experience!
