Great guide - Yumi was wonderful. She struck a great balance by being informative enough to make things interesting but not so much that people lost interest. The whole family enjoyed our day very much.

A fascinating tour with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - Our guide, Yumi Aoyama, was warm, welcoming and highly knowledgeable. She answered every question even thought I’m a bit of a history buff. Her preparation for the tour with a folder of pictures and diagrams to illustrate a point was excellent and helped us understand things like what the five levels of pagodas represent. Overall, we felt like we were in good hands and she delivered good value for money. We highly recommend her and her tour.

Friendly, well planned, amazing - My wife and I had the pleasure to visit Nikko with Yuki. She succeeded to share her passion to Nikko with us and gave us all he explanations necessary to fully grasp the balance and harmony between Shintoism and Buddhism, temples and shrines so famous in Nikko. We wanted to visit the Shinkyo bridge, Togoshu shrine, Rinnoji temple, to see Futaran Shrine, explore the Kanaya history hotel museum. We did all of it. She knew that we wanted to see as well the lake Chuzenji lake and the Kegin falls but to visit everything is quiet difficult. Because we had an early start and the fact she bought for us some tickets in advance, we avoided the long lines and saved a lot of time. We did manage to go to the lake and the Kegon falls. Even better : she introduced us to one of the last wood craftsman in Nikko region. Amazing! Thanks Yuki Gad and Caroline Important tip: We were there in mid-november and up in Kegon it was snowing. So be prepared.

Nikko - memorable with Yukiko - Yukiko made this such an amazing day. She got in touch with us weeks in advance, sussed out our interests, planed different itineraries which she sent us, including her own hand drawn maps. Thank you Yukiko Tsunoda, for making this such a memorable day. Thank you for being so thoughtful, flexible and so full of information- it felt at the end like we made a friend!
