Nikko sights - Ali was our driver and he was very good. Courteous and respectful. Van was comfy and clean (also smoke free). We were ready to have someone drive us around for a day instead of navigating buses and trains. Booking the trip was easy. The generous cancellation policy also took away any risks. Would book again.

Outstanding Service!! - The trip was amazing. Shah did an amazing job showing us around, helping us with getting tickets and accommodating to our needs. If you want to enjoy multiple key sites around Nikko without the restrictions of a group tour, I recommend taking this private tour. Thank you!!!

Highly Recommend - Our driver Bobby was great, very punctual and spoke very good English. He recommended we start our day really early to avoid traffic and we agreed. That was probably the best decision we made. We got to Nikko around 8am and there was no one around yet so we got to enjoy the sites with little to no crowds. By noon time the clouds rolled in, luckily we were close to the end of the tour. By the time we left at 1pm thunder and lightning struck the Nikko area, we lucked out by being there early to the crowd and the storm. We started our tour at 6am and got back to our hotel in Ginza around 3pm.

- We had a great time visiting the Nikko Park. Our drivers were great...they coordinated to ensure that our LARGE group of 16 people departed and arrived at all the stops together. They had great suggestions for where to eat lunch. They were prompt and courteous. Would definitely recommend this tour!

The biggest and most beautiful Shrine in Japan. - The most beautiful Shrine in Japan, amazing, absolutly must see! Driver was very elastic and friendly. It is possible to see deers and monkeys in the mountains, we have seen only deers.

Very nice excursion from Tokyo - Spectacular. I would spend more time visiting the temples. It is very fair to be able to visit them with the time you have in the visit.

Nikko trip with large group. - Our guide Meebi was very helpful and let us go at the speed of our young children. Even though it rained for the first part of the day we got to see a lot and went to some pretty secluded spots. We had to get two vans but the drivers coordinated so we could do everything together.

Why were there so many changes to our tour? - Our tour was scheduled to start at 8:30 am. The evening before our tour we received a text from Bobby, our guide, asking to start at 6 am because of possible "bad traffic". We were not able to start 2 1/2 hours before the scheduled time but said we could start at 7:30 am and if we were not able to fit all the stops listed on the "what to expect on the tour" we would like give up the 2 hour stop at the shrine. We had bad weather and our guide was helpful in making sure we were able to have lunch out of the storms. We were given a choice of visiting the shrine or a samurai village. We chose the village. Looking back on the samurai village I am not sure why we stopped there. Most of it was closed or mini workshops only for children. The stop was defiantly not worth seeing if we had to give up other stops on the schedule. Our tour was outlined as approximately 10 hours in length and we arrived back at our hotel with our tour lasting 9 1/2 hours. After we were dropped off we realized we never visited Nikko Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park. We were looking forward to seeing and taking the tour of the former summer residence of the royal family. We specifically said if we had to miss something it would be the shrine and the samurai village that were were taken to was never on the tour outline. We were never told we would not see the residence or asked if we wanted to skip it. Overall we enjoyed our ride around Nikko but we were very disappointed to have missed the summer residence.

Feel like a total scam. - Terrible. The driver did not go to all the sites as advertised. Total time spent on the actual sites was less than 1 hr. First he did not stop at the bridge. He just drove by. No Narabi Jinzo. No Tamozawa imperial villa. Spent 15 min at the Kevin Falls. 10 min at Lake Chunzeji. The drive just kept saying traffic is bad. I think he simply wanted to go home. The whole thing felt like a joke. A USD$420 joke.
