Participants will be guided by our enthusiastic naturalist on a trek along the Southern slope of Mount Etna, reaching up to 2000 meters. Explore a volcanic cave with equipment provided and included in the price.
Experience a magical moment with us: the Etna Sunset, while savoring a delightful lunch featuring typical Sicilian products, water, and red Etna wine.
During the Winter Season, due to lower temperatures, the outdoor lunch will be replaced with a snack of pizza or traditional products in a charming Chalet.
The tour will be conducted in Italian and English, with options for French and Spanish upon request.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
- English and Italian guide are always available, French and Spanish are subject to availability. Upon booking, we will confirm you if the language required is available.
- Guests need to wear trekking shoes and bring a jacket. We can provide trekking shoes and jackets for free at the moment of the booking if requested.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
- Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking
- Vegetarian, vegan, celiac option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

Excellent adventure - Fun afternoon adventure to Mt Etna. Easy to moderate hike, then beautiful sunset with Sicilian Street food and wine. Diego was a great tour guide for our group of eight

Highlight of our week…no…year! - Words cannot express how amazing this trip was! From start to finish we loved every second. Hearing Etna’s ‘booms’ on the way up was incredible. Matteo & Giovani were fantastic guides; Giovani showed a real passion for the volcano & gave us so much information. He always made sure the whole group had heard what he had to say, including speaking in different languages. The jackets & walking boots that they let us use were very good. Going in the cave was interesting & not as daunting as our youngest daughter thought it would be!
The food that we had at the picnic was tasty, as was the wine. Seeing Etna erupt & watching the lava was the icing on the cake! Absolutely incredible and mesmerising. It was wonderful having the time to watch it and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We can’t recommend this trip highly enough!

An experience to remember - We loved the organisation. Free snacks and wine during sunset were a bonus to this exciting trip where we explored a volcanic cave, craters and learnt a lot about their nature, Etna and even Sicilia itself. The guide was very welcoming, answered every question with enthusiasm and was very fun to listen to!

What a beautiful moment of discovery and conviviality - We had a great time discovering the mountain and its inhabitants. Thanks to the passionate guide and the organization of the evening dinner, which made it all an unforgettable family moment.

What a wonderful experience! - The view was spectacular, it feels like Mars. Beautiful, I highly recommend to also see a beautiful sunset from the refuge. Very honest prices, the girls at the desk Laura and Samuela, extremely available and precise. Our guide Andrea was fantastic!
I recommend to all those who want to try a different experience!

The tour was the best parts of our holiday! - Me and my partner had a really great time and we enjoyed the tour. What we saw was amazing and interesting and absolutely worth the money. We also got dinner that was delicious.
The guide was really well-prepared and helpful and friendly, and we learnt a lot of interesting facts about Etna.

Exciting family walk on Etna at sunset, great guide great tour! - We did the tour of Mount Etna at sunset with the family, it was a unique emotion both from the point of view of the landscapes and for the many detailed, curious and exciting information from our talented and highly trained guide Iorgen. Maximum attention to the needs of everyone even our little girls. Pleasant also the convivial moment always with the guide Iorgen and the very nice driver Antonio. I recommend the tour to everyone.

Unique - Unique experience in a lovely place carried out with a trained guide and that satisfied all our curiosity. Unless you are an expert on volcanoes or geology, the guide is essential to understand what you are walking on and to know what is around us. A visit to Mount Etna is an integral part of a holiday in Sicily. Highly recommended!!!
