Very great! - This tour was excellent and very informative. We learned about the grapes, how they process and stor the wine and we were able to taste some great selections. I 100% recommend.

A 6 star experience! - Just spectacular! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The attention of the staff, the tour of the vineyards, the explanation about the wine making and, of course, the tasting, were of another level. We tasted delicious wines in a beautiful setting, with a guide who knew a lot and conveyed his passion for wine. I'd put 6 stars on it if I could! Definitely one of the best tours I've ever done. 100% recommended.

Wonderful vineyard tour and wine tasting at Château de Bellet - The tour at Château de Bellet was phenomenal! Our guide Julia shared here great knowledge about wine production and tasting. She also provided us with an introduction to local history, which was really interesting. With her extensive knowledge, she answered every question we had without hesitation. The location and the chapel was idyllic, and the perfectly guided tour ended in the cellar of the chapel. We highly reccomend this tour!

Experiential vineyard tour in a beautiful old chapel - The trip by public bus from the Magnan bus stop in Nice, helped to make the trip to Chateau de Ballet excellent!! Beautiful landscape and twisted roads. Finally you get to the beautiful chapel with the vineyards around. Julia is a passionate sommelier with great knowledge about the wine making at Ballet! You get an introduction to the different wine regions in France, the location of the vineyards and their importance for which wine can be produced. It was all in all a really good experience and recommendable!!

Beautiful quaint winery with amazing staff - I highly recommend this tour whether you are a wine connoisseur or not! It was the perfect balance of informative and fun. The winery is located on a hill and overlooks the city of Nice with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. The guide was so sweet and knowledgeable teaching us about the wine regions in France and the process they use to make their wines. After learning the process we went to the tasting room which is located in an old chapel. It was beautiful and so unique. We tasted 3 wines, a white, rose, and red. The guide shared with us the grapes they were all made from and the group discussed the flavors. Afterwards we had the opportunity to buy bottles or glasses and sit enjoying the spectacular views. The guide was also very helpful and sweet providing tips for people for the remainder of their travels as well as helping some of the group arrange taxis for pickup. While I didn’t have this problem, some people in the group said they had tried to uber to the winery and the uber declined their trip. So taxis or personal transportation may be the best way.

Great value for money! - A throughly enjoyable and informative tour! We learnt about the process of creating the wine, toured the vinyard for as long as we could stand the gorgeous sunshine, then moved inside to see the aging process and most importantly, taste it! Delicious unique wine flavours, and a lovely, knowledgable tour guide called Julia. All other staff members were friendly and helpful, and the scenery was breathtaking. Great value for money. Definitely recommend!

Extremely Disappointed – Tour Missed Due to Misinformation, No Refund Provided - I booked a tour through Viator and was told by their customer service via live chat that pickup was included. I was given a specific location and confirmed the details in advance. On the day of the tour, I waited at the spot with my elderly mother, but no one arrived. When I contacted Viator again, I was reassured the transport was on its way. After a long wait and no show, I reached out directly to the tour operator — who informed me that no transport was ever arranged for our booking. This caused significant stress, confusion, and physical strain, especially for my mother in the summer heat. Despite explaining everything and providing proof, Viator denied my refund. They completely disregarded the failure in communication on their part and offered no resolution or accountability. Very disappointed by how this situation was handled. I will be reconsidering any future bookings through Viator.
