- Antibes - Antibes is one of France’s oldest cities which was founded by Greek merchants in the 5th century and where nowadays the genuine Provencal Market goers and the very rich Yacht-owners meet in one single town. It is one of the most attractive and interesting places to visit on this section of the coast, with all the ingredients you could hope for - an attractive seafront area, historic buildings, and an interesting old town with a traditional market.
